Stay with me. This is a long one. I personally think it would be cooler if the Targaryen's had a deeper connection with dragons. They alone connect with and claim Dragon's. So I think to add to world building Targaryen's could have Dragon like atrobutes. Not like scales or horns, but small things like slightly enhanced eye sight further away. Or someone can make the Dragon's clicking noise. Just more top of the food chain animals atrobutes.

JUST THINK OF THE SHIPPING ABILITIES WITH THESE. OMEGAVERS!?!? THIS COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER.

Deamon, being a warrior and a fighter, would have Dragon's breath where small plumes of smoke can leak from the mouth as an intimidation tactic. And his is abnormally strong being ably to swing large swords with ease. It's not so strong that it doesn't make sense. Just makes battle easier for him. Because Daemon attacks, he is strong and determined and commanding. He can project his voice a little farther, too, sounding lounder when he needs. Though his anger is also connected to this. Making him impulsive and lashing out more than most. Clouding his judgment.

Meanwhile, Aemond would move like a dragon. His body almost slithering like one, and when he has an opponent, his eyes lock on and pupils low wide. He can move almost hypnoticly, but his eyes would never leave the enemy moments almost unsettling smooth. His steps quieter because he strikes instead of attacking his is the snake like type. He would be fast to bordering unnatural. It would add why losing his eye had such an impact. Part of his tie to Dragon's is how his eyes lock on unmoving despite his body moving. Making it MORE of a tactical disadvantage and tainting his connection to Dragon's and the Targaryen name. Not that losing any eye wasn't traumatic enough already.

Aegon would have the hearing of a Dragon being able to pick up on small, little movements at odd times. It isn't everything he can hear better, just his ears. A voice that shouldn't be there would catch his ears. Pick up small sounds more quickly. Or if a door creaked open in the middle of the night. Naturally, to pare with this, his breathing could become so quiet it is almost not there for a short while, maybe a minute or two at the most. Drinking impairing all senses, including the added bonus of hearing. Being unable to control when his breathing goes slow and quiet when he sleeps if drunk. People thinking he is dead when he's not.

Rhaenyra, eye sight would be better at picking up small movement further away. Small moments catch her eye better. Not having a clearer vision. Simply, small things like a mouse moving suddenly, or maybe if someone tried to quickly hide. Being more agile as well. Finding flexible movements much easier. Or the uncanny ability to stand uncomfortably still. Almost if she were a statue.

When will people understand that BOTH Alicent and Rhaenyra did bad things to each other because of patriarchy. Viserys married Alicent and Rhaenyra resented her for that and because of patriarchal society she wasn’t able to comprehend that her father was in the wrong.

We also see that despite the efforts made by Alicent, Rhaenyra still pushes her away and after they seem to re establish their friendship Rhaenyra lies to her and because of that gets Otto fired (we see Otto being the only one there for Alicent, he was a shit father but Alicent can’t put her head around that fact) the moment we see Alicent feel hatred towards Rhaenyra is when she learns that she lied to her.

When we see adult Alicent and Rhaenyra, Alicent is clearly rude to her and wants to see baby Joffrey. She also keeps repeating that Rhaenyra’s kid are bastards, which is true and some of y’all act like it isn’t.

I enjoy and appreciate both of them, even Emma D’arcy said that the show evolves around two smart woman who are put against each other because of patricahy, it’s such a great written show and talks about so many things.
