I don't understand when fans treat hp canon like a holy text. it's a great jumping off point, and i loved the books growing up, but there's no moral obligation to make content that is aligned with the source text. in fact by portraying remus and sirius as in love we are already going very far from what was actually written! and that's what makes it interesting, so why stop there, you know?
Kyojuro kept sight in his eye, even if the lid was damaged. Him and Uzui are besties. Despite his father’s comments on his appearance, Kyojuro does not cover his scarring.
Uzui offered to make him a patch if he wanted one but thought it was flashy that Kyojuro chooses to bear his scars with confidence.
Kyojuro tries not to think about his father’s opinion. He appreciates keeping his depth perception, and keeps eyedrops and salve from Shinobu to care for his injury on the long term. He does not love the reminder of his weakness, but at the same time, it is a reminder that he did his job; he protected the kids and came home to his family.
