I always heard loot tables were a bad idea but I didn’t listen. After several shenanigans the party got to roll for loot. Mostly potions and scrolls. But my wife rolled for a sword of answering *clears throat to read* “
“You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this sword. In addition, while you hold the sword, you can use your reaction to make one melee attack with it against any creature in your reach that deals damage to you. You have advantage on the attack roll, and any damage dealt with this special attack ignores any damage immunity or resistance the target has.” Advantage on attack rolls along with never being able to roll a 1 or 2 on damage with a feat she was rolling for minutes at a time and always hitting to do the most damage on the table. Legendary weapon at session 1 don’t do it guys. Don’t roll for loot. (Ever game we play we look for a sword of answering).
