FitzChivalry Farseer, they could never make me hate you.

Hello everyone! I figured I'd make the first post on my blog an introduction (I apologise for any mistakes in my writing, English is not my first language).

I'm Pearl, I'm 18 and I'm currently in my senior year of high school. Hopefully this October I'll be a med school student (so this blog will, for now, mainly be dedicated to my preparation for the entrance exams).

I love Biology, music, Robin Hobb's books and I sometimes draw.

I look forward to meeting the many amazing people in this community!

Ok rote fandom you're gonna like this.

My school (which has nothing to do with art) did an artistic competition between students, and I participated in a few catégories, such as ✨️animation ✨️

(btw I won this one)

The theme of the competition was "Symbiosis", aaand I did a fan-animation of Fitz and the Foul 🫣😈

I told my friends but the public and the jury don't know.

(I will probably delete this post in a few weeks after I take the time to polish the animation, I'm not satisfied with it right now, I was running late)

Rules were :

- No more than 30 sec (oupsy)

- To animate a transformation/fusion

- and we need to attribute a colour to each character

The first 3 are photos of one particular boy model heavily edited in Photoshop and BeFunky. The last one is a different model and I am honestly not sure perhaps I overdid it on the scaling... He is more monstrous rather than beautiful... but hey, here it is.

An edit on my Bee created months earlier. There are some new very exciting filters with in the filter software that I use and I like this much more.

The Skill link and Bond between Beloved and Fitz... The first time ever in the mountains., the second in Verity's Tower and the third in the tunnel filled with water in Clerres. . The are other times they've linked which I have not made yet. I will do so in the future.

P.S. The two trees represent Fitz and Beloved as in Wintrow's window and Bee's dream. They are supposed to be gold and silver but I strayed from the original somewhat... (if I am mistaken about any of this, please feel free to correct me and I will edit the post)

It turns out that the only thing between me and staying up all night very night drawing these idiots for the last few years has been that my degree’s kept me too busy

I need Fool rehab, is my point (also since drawing my first Fitz the other day I have come to the conclusion I LIKE drawing Fitz). It is HALF PAST FIVE IN THE MORNING.

Created with Photoshop CS2 and BeFunky. I think that I went a bit overboard with the hair... but I like it. I do have all the layers saved separately so can still be changed.

The Fool from the Tawny Man Trilogy

Beloved in the facet of Lord Golden from the Tawny Man trilogy. I am not sure if it's too colorful. Perhaps, I should tone it down a bit.

Molly Chandler (Badgerlock) spends many nights alone in her bed probably wondering and trying not to think about where her husband is and what is on his mind. She spend years alone in bed while Fitz wrote romantic and passionate letters to the Fool battling with his love, need and desire which he pushed deep inside but could not be denied anymore. There is a new work on AO3 called The Cold Side of the Bed by mellowthorn and these images are based on that or your imagination of how she felt.

I took a really long time to construct this room and there is a second version which I will upload as well.

Chade Fallstar - I was quite a looker... I must admit that I made him rather more handsome than expected, if he reminds you of someone famous that whose faced I used to create him. Can you guess who it is?

The Fool in Farseer Trilogy before the mountains and how Fitz saw him at the beginning ...

Fitz and the Fool in their youth. It is based more on fan fiction rather than actual reality. Take your pick which one. Perhaps, "Prophet's Threads" or "Realm of Soft boys"... Created by using various models and then some additional parts as well. I think Fitz is rather girly, but then I used a girl for the model and I like it.

I imagine that most of you have seen this one but if you have not, I recommend it. It's really sad but worth a watch in my opinion anyway.
