Panel one of a six panel fan art Sofia the First comic. King Roland II is standing with a concerned look on his face looking down at his children who are off panel. Queen Miranda is standing beside him and has her arm around him looking up at him smiling sadly. Roland says “... So, now you know the truth about my first wish on the well. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. If any of you has anything to say, please do.”
Amber, Sofia, and James are standing next to each other processing what their father just told them. Amber is staring off into space with a forlorn expression. Sofia's eyebrows are creased, and she is clasping her hands together nervously. James has a wide-eyed expression and has his hand raised so he can be called upon to speak. Off panel Roland says “Okay... one at a time please.”
There is a close up on James as well as a thought bubble in the corner of the panel depicting the grayscale face of the wishing well. James’s eyes become even more wide eyed as he asks “Does this mean I'm half-wishing well? If someone put a coin in my mouth could I grant their wishes?”
Roland from off panel replies “WHAT?! NO! Absolutely not!”
There is a close up of Sofia looking very apologetic. In the corner of the panel there is a grayscale thought bubble of the winged horse Minimus talking to three other horses. He has three speech bubbles around him with three pictograms, one depicting a well with two coins beside it and one coin missing, the second pictogram is of Roland the second holding baby Amber and James, the third depicts a skull and a rose.
Sofia says “I'm sorry dad. Minimus and I already knew, and I think he has told every horse in the kingdom by now.”
Roland from off panel replies “That's not... how did you...?”
There is a close up of Amber looking very distressed. She asks “Daddy... does that mean I could have killed Sofia when I turned her into a cat? Would she be dead because of me?”
Roland replies “No Amber. That wouldn't have happened. Don't worry, no one got hurt.”
Amber responds, “But Sofia almost was!”
Roland is on one knee hugging all three of his children with them returning the hug. Miranda is standing beside him joining the hug with one hand on James's shoulder and the other on Roland’s head. Roland has his eyes closed as he says “But she wasn't. She's alright. All of you are. I'm sorry I only told you now. But please remember we both love you all very much. And we'll all get through this together.”

This was originally meant to be a 100% goofy funny comic, but somehow it turned into angst halfway through. I still think it's funny that Minimus canonically learns the truth before Amber and James though.

(And thanks to @ograndebatata for helping me rewrite the script to be more fitting).

Comic Script: Roland: … So, now you know the truth about my first wish on the well. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. If any of you has anything to say, please do. Roland: Okay… one at a time please. James: Does this mean I'm half-wishing well? If someone put a coin in my mouth could I grant their wishes? Roland: WHAT?! NO! Absolutely not! Sofia: I'm sorry dad. Minimus and I already knew, and I think he has told every horse in the kingdom by now. Roland: That's not… how did you…? Amber: Daddy… does that mean I could have killed Sofia when I turned her into a cat? Would she be dead because of me? Roland: No Amber. That wouldn't have happened. Don't worry, no one got hurt. Amber: But Sofia almost was! Roland: But she wasn't. She's alright. All of you are. I'm sorry I only told you now. but please remember we both love you all very much. And we'll all get through this together.

Panel one of a six panel fan art Sofia the First comic. Queen Miranda smiles as she looks down at her stepchildren Amber and James. They look at up at her with mistrust and apprehension. Amber asks “So you're definitely not going to be an evil stepmother like the ones in fairytales?” Miranda replies “Yes, I'll be good.”
There is a speech bubble with James’s face at the top of the panel to indicate he is talking, and at the bottom of the panel there is a speech bubble with Miranda's face indicating that she is talking. In the middle there is a crudely drawn imagined scene of a scared Amber and James in the middle of a dark spooky forest surrounded by evil looking eyes and a mean looking tree glaring at them from the darkness on the left side, and a gingerbread house on the right. James asks: “So, if we ran out of food, you wouldn't convince our dad to abandon us in the woods with no way home?”
Miranda replies: “No, I would not. And if we were low on food, you could have mine.”
There is a speech bubble with Amber’s face at the top of the panel to indicate she is talking and at the bottom of the panel there is a speech bubble with Miranda's face indicating that she is talking. In the middle there is an imagined picture of a cauldron filled with boiling red liquid with a small human hand visible in the liquid. On the right side of the panel there's an arm holding a bowl full of the same red liquid with a small bone sticking out of it. Amber asks: “Speaking of food, you would never cook us in a stew and feed it to our loved ones, right?” Miranda replies “No! Absolutely not! What kind of fairytales have you been reading?!”
James is smiling brightly while giving a big thumbs up and is holding up a green book that says Grimm on the cover. He says: “The Grimm ones!”
There is an imagined scenario of amber and James wearing worn out looking peasants’ clothes while crying. James is holding a rag as he mops the floor while Amber is holding a bucket full of bubbles. Amber from off screen says, “Final question worst possible scenario, would you ever dress us in servant clothes and force us to do chores?”
Miranda looks very concerned and is holding her hands together as she grimaces. Amber is holding her fan partially in front of her face while giving Miranda a severe side eye. James is distracted by trying to balance the book on his nose and is smiling. Miranda says “No, and are you sure that's the worst scenario of the three?” Amber replies “Absolutely. Without a doubt.”

This comic is brought to you by: me rereading the Brothers Grimm and remembering how horrifying “The Juniper Tree” is. (Also “Hansel and Gretel” is pretty messed up too, but still).

Comic script: Amber (to Miranda): So you're definitely not going to be an evil stepmother like the ones in fairytales? Miranda: Yes, I'll be good. James: So, if we ran out of food, you wouldn't convince our dad to abandon us in the woods with no way home? M: No, I would not. And if we were low on food, you could have mine. A: Speaking of food, you would never cook us in a stew and feed it to our loved ones, right? M: No! Absolutely not! What kind of fairytales have you been reading?! J: The Grimm ones. A: Final question worst possible scenario, would you ever dress us in servant clothes and force us to do chores? M: No, and are you sure that's the worst scenario of the three? A: Absolutely. Without a doubt.
