ooh boy did I cut it a bit close with this one. I always post hermittober pieces every day at the same time and this one took me so long to figure out that I'm currently scheduling this post with only less than an hour to spare

anyway, I like how this one turned out, especially since I couldn't find any references, so I had to use my imagination a bit. that said tho, I did use a reference for the skull and I'm glad I did. should probably do that more

not gonna lie, it took me a bit to figure this one out. and I haven't really seen any of Xisuma's videos, so sorry if this is super inaccurate

that said tho, I didn't expect it to turn out this good! this whole thing is making me step out of my comfort zone and it's working out surprisingly well

The Creator and the Observer

I think I’m starting to understand why Joel hates horses so much after trying to figure out how to draw a skeleton horse >_<

Anyways, I saw bdubs with some skeleton horses in his episode about 2 weeks ago and decided that yes, I would like to spend 20 hours drawing that. (Also I needed a new wallpaper but that’s unrelated)

A messy finished Creaking Etho sketch (with and without shading) because I love the Creaking hybrid Etho idea so much.

I’ve been working on another drawing for about 10? Ish days now and a total of around 12 hours so far, and this creaking one is the one I would work on when I got bored lol. Despite distractions, I’m almost done and hoping on finishing the bigger piece sometime next week, possibly by Tuesday but we’ll see (I’ve been putting it off).

By the way, thank you guys for all the attention and kind words on the last post, I’m so happy you all like my art and while it was quite unexpected to get so much praise, I’m not one to complain haha.

I saw this moment is Gem’s castle video and knew I had to draw it. He’s just perched there and it’s so perfect, also the moment when he was so happy to get his wings was adorable. I love little pesky bird grian. Life’s been quite busy , and most of my free time has gone to sketchbook practice or writing (which is something new I’ve taken up). I’m only at around 6000 words so far but I like the direction it’s going. Not sure if I’m ever going to put it online if I do finish it, but maybe I’ll consider. So yeah I’ve been up to a lot lately but I’m glad I got to finally watch the castle vids since I got to make this :]

Since my first post did so well, here’s some more fanart, this time more recent for @hotguycomiczine! This was an amazing project, and whilst reading I knew I really wanted to draw/ put my own spin on Pearl/Scour. They were really one of my favorite characters throughout the whole story.i don’t really remember what weapon she had though so I gave her a big scythe. Loved evil pearl and the zine so much.
