I loved the most recent episode of Wild Life. I never would have guessed with all the ominous hints at what it was that it was running away from snails for ninety minutes lol but it was super fun to watch and a super creative concept! My favorite part was when Mumbo and Grian got cornered in the mineshaft and started freaking out because the snails were coming for them.

Theories and Headcannons Pt 21
With Grian's latest episode and the Grumbo crumbs he and Mumbo gave to the community, this weekly theory would entail Grian's current endeavours with Mumbo. Ever since Season 8 of Hermitcraft, Mumbo has kept Grian's soul as a substitute to expell the pig curse that tormented him for multiple episodes. This link between Mumbo and Grian was expressed by a waffle back on both Grian's and Mumbo's head until now in Season 10 where Mumbo's skin has been replaced with an aged facade and the removal of the waffle.
The extraction of the waffle would symbolise the final rejection of sorts and the return of pure Mumbo. But with Grian's latest episode the revelation of Mumbo's skin development is finally realised by both members. With the use of Grian's mace he retrieves Mumbo's head realising that a part of him, treasured and kept safely with a trusted someone is gone.
So with the mace, an item treasured by Grian, he decimates Mumbo to retrieve his head. To finally recover the remaining fragment of his soul lost in the continuous flow of time.

hey! i usually don’t write grumbo but i think here’s an exception.. (not my prompt btw)
also, this is one of the only things of grumbo (dating related) ill ever write ever so if you still want to block me feel free
prompt: character a tilting character b’s chin up to get a better look at their face and the evidence of the fight. a delicately thumbs away the streak of blood by b’s mouth, saying nothing as they examine it. after a brief pause, b’s heart skips a nervous beat as a looks them dead in the eyes. their voice is quiet and tense, their anger barely restrained.
“who did this to you?”
side note: mumbo will be a little ooc (assertive(?) dominant(?) to fit with the prompt, but other then that, enjoy!

Grian had just rushed home after getting into a fight with someone not-to-be-disclosed, frantically trying to cover his scars and bruises before his boyfriend, Mumbo came home. He rushed to the washroom after tossing his jacket on the floor, rummaging the drawers for anything like bandages or casts.
Things laid everywhere on the floor, from toilet paper to bath salts. He eventually found some medical supplies, laying them on the counter infront of him as he slowly aided for himself—
“What do you think you’re doing, Grian?”
Grian jolt up. Mumbo was leaning against the doorframe of the washroom, crossing his arms and holding his jacket. Grian stuttered for words— he opened his mouth, but nothing came out. He panicked, stopping in his tracks.
Mumbo slightly vigorously grabbed Grian’s chin to get a better look, inspecting his face. He pondered if this was the cause of clumsiness, or a fight. His thumb slightly stroked the smaller’s chin, Grian watching his inspecting eyes.
He was silent, and so was Mumbo. Mumbo looked into his eyes and Grian’s heart had skipped a beat then and there, nervously. Mumbo looked into Grian’s eyes with a stern look, not blinking even once.
“Who did this to you?”
Grian fumbled for words, looking around the room and thinking of an excuse, not wanting anyone to die today. Mumbo kept looking at him sternly, and that’s when he gave up. He motioned for Mumbo to move down so he could whisper in his ear, as Mumbo’s face changed quick of expression.
“Very well then.. So, must we get on with the bandaging up?” Mumbo giggled, as Grian hesitated.
“Fine. But pleasedontkillthem-“
“I won’t, don’t worry.” Mumbo pinched Grian’s chin as he put bandages and casts on his partner. They smiled at each other, him being caring and delightful.
