Your personal Tumblr journey starts here
just wrote a gay fanfic in latin. 9/10 can reccomend. might share it here later. depends on how i feel.
"listening to music in your target language is the best way to learn it" they said "it'll be fun" they said but now i'm listening to smells like teen spirit in classical latin with weird instrumentals in the background.
My assumption when I first heard the name Amenta was that it was from the Latin word mens, mentis, meaning âmind.â I think I read somewhere that this was incorrect, but I could be misremembering and I canât find that post.
Anyways, under that system, Mentan would mean something to the effect of âhaving a mindâ and Amentan would mean something to the effect of ânot having a mind.â
The opposite of American is:
un-American (the hyphen is unavoidable, donât even try)
unAmerican (programmerâs CamelCase has infected the wider language)
unamerican (because fuck caps altogether)
Unamerican (as in from Unamerica, because the âadjective ofâ and âopposite ofâ operations commute)
