Vance Hopper dating headcannons !!

Disclaimer: these are all just simply my imagination and not all cannon!! (also this fandom is so dead guys pls comeback💔) vance x reader Warnings: None except for some cursing! Let me know if I missed any!!

• Before you started dating, Vance did not accept his feelings for you for a quite a while. He noticed how his breathing would get heavier when he was around you, and how his hands would starts sweating when you brushed past him, and that weird feeling he got in his stomach when you guys made eye contact, but he instead blamed it on some sort of illness and brushed it off

• Eventually his infatuation with you turned into resentment. How could some girl have so much power over him? He was Vance hopper for Gods sake, feared by everyone yet crumbling at the sight of a girl? Pathetic.

• It wasn’t until weeks of nagging from his friends that he decided to do something about his feelings

• Though, it took many attempts before he actually did something. For a while it was just him walking up to you at your locker (after being hyped up by his friends obvi) before swiftly walking away out of fear.

• Fortunately after quite a while of his failed attempts, you caught on and decided to make the first move since he was clearly having some trouble…

• When you started dating this boy is NOT romantic whatsoever. He never calls you babe or bae but instead dumbshit or dipshit (with affection ofc)

•His idea of a “date” is you watching him play pinball at the Grab ‘N Go and cheering him on

• Definitely plays some sort of instrument and teaches you how to play it (guitar or drums def)

• Listens to thrash & Speed metal

• Have you ever seen or heard those stories about people adopting dogs from bad homes and it takes them forever to get used to affection and to a good home? Yeah that’s Vance.

• Needs constant reassurance

• Takes a while for him to get used to being shown affection

• Not big on PDA but can be an absolute sweetheart behind closed doors

• He will always pretend to not enjoy the affection you show him in order to keep his tough guy facade on (🙄)

• Basically lives with you from how many times he spends the night at your house

• Gets mad anytime you take his clothes to wear but eventually lets you keep it after seeing how you look with it on

• Will push you away from him any time you try to cuddle with him just for him to end up hugging you anyway

• Shows his affection through (playful) bullying

• EXTREMELY protective over you. I’m talking literally beating kids to near death for just looking at you or making a lewd comment

• Lets you Forces you to clean up his cuts after fights 🙏
