How long would you like to cry? [1 hour]
Avari, rummaging through a chest and finding a weird crystal:
Meridia: “A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE-“
Avari, in a blind panic: *screams at the top of her lungs and throws the demon ball across the room*
Physically, Avari could probably handle the trials and tribulations of other protagonists, by virtue of being what is essentially a demigod. Emotionally and mentally, though? Absolutely not, she’s barely functioning in her own story with her emotional support army.
Sif, bless her heart, would get eaten by a dragon after trying to befriend it if she took Avari’s place as Dragonborn. As the Hero of Kvatch, she’d get sidetracked and forget she’s trying to save the world, or go to the Shivering Isles and never come back. The only reason she’s doing okay as a Vestige is because her party keeps her on-task.
Lyrinn is the only one of my protagonists who would do okay if she was in the other’s shoes, at least on the surface. The truth is, she’s almost as stressed and strained as Avari, she’s just significantly better at compartmentalizing.
for the purpose of this poll, the protagonists can be whoever you want and swap with whatever other protagonist you want. thank you to anonymous for the suggestion!
I'm curious--how do you guys go about creating your OCs?
By 4E 206, she’s got a dog (Meeko), two elytra nymphs (Scuttles and Squee), a bantam guar (The Duchess), a netch calf (Vivi), and a horse (Queen Allie).
And that’s not even taking into account everyone else’s pets…
if you'd like, tell us about them in the tags or reblogs!
