It seems that both parties know nothing about the Klinefelter syndrome besides what books say. How about you actually ask guys that have KS before you make claims. And besides this, guys that have this don't like to be called abnormal. It is just a genetic variation. Like the weather variates every day from its recorded state of the year before.

Concerning the anon who asked about assigning gender at birth, I agree with your comments that providing gender roles and making a child stick to them can be harmful, however we should also be aware of the medical variation between the sexes. For example, in X linked conditions such as Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy where only males (XY genotype) are affected,we cannot ignore the physical sex of the child. (Part 1/2)

I guess I’m wondering how you would reconcile the varying risk factors that are present medically for the XX , XY (and indeed for XXY such as in Klinefelter’s and other chromosomal abnormalities) with the idea of gender. Or to put it another way, I think we need to step away from using chromosomal sex and the gender roles present in society synonymously, but we can’t deny that medical or chromosomal sex is concept that empirically has an impact throughout life.

Except that “biological sex” is constructed as well, and this is a totally insufficient reason for constructing a strict gender binary that divides the population into two distinct groups based on something that is irrelevant outside of a medical and/or reproductive context (and with modern technology, not even anywhere near as relevant within those contexts as it used to be)
