donald trump’s instagram comments section is full of teenagers bullying him and I’m in tears
It’s hard to explain such a complicated matter in a short comic, so please forgive me for not diving deeper in some nuances. Also: I am not black, and I’m Canadian, so I’m not an authority on the matter. I just know how to draw. Listen to black voices.
White men: If you use the term Karen to speak about women you don’t like, it’s just misogynistic.
And if you’re a white woman campaigning against the use of the term Karen— wonder why you’re not campaigning against the racist acts of the ones that get called Karen.
(please don’t repost this comic on twitter or instagram, i posted it myself on both)
Edit: I was told -rightfully so- that the comic erased black women in the narrative, so I made some changes and replaced it with the 2nd version.
If you want to be ATTRACTIVE you can be.
-Get up early. Set your alarm and stretch first thing. Then go make some tea.
-Get dressed, do light makeup & go for a walk (Always look your best even if it’s light makeup & your hair is in a ponytail).
-Work out. Even though you don’t want to! Do you think anybody wants to at first? No. How do they get results? Discipline.
-Check off a calendar to feel accomplished after u do these things every day (with a rest day in between. Even then, stay active just go easier—walk).
-Do a face mask 2X a week at the end of the day. Put teabags on eyes to reduce puffiness. Moisturize and use gua sha roller to massage face.
-Sleep to binaural beats music for deep sleep
If you want to be SMART you can be.
-Read portions of a book mindfully and try to retain that information.
-Try to finish 1 book every 2 weeks. The library is your friend.
-Do a crossword in the local newspaper
If you want to be STRONG you can be.
-STOP giving into your emotions & being at their mercy.
-Do you feel sad? Well cry it out, comfort yourself & then get right back to doing whatever you need to further your goals.
-Don’t be an open book. Even if you don’t feel well nobody on the outside needs to know. Don’t give away your secrets. Only ask for help from appropriate people.
If you want to be FRIENDLY & PERSONABLE you can be.
-What would you do if you were drunk/ not overthinking it?
-How others react to you is none of your business. Don’t let them determine your worth/ mood.
-Compliment strangers. Ask for directions. This can lead to small talk.
-Mirror people subtly. Add on to the conversation by asking questions. Wait until the other person is done speaking no matter how badly you want to get a word in.
-Get approached by always looking put together & nice. Even if you’re not, fool them on the outside.

I’ve been asked many times what someone should look for when trying to find a good artist. The best way you can do this is to look at their portfolio, whether it’s in a book at their shop or online. If they don’t have good work in their portfolio, they’re probably not good artists.
The shop may be clean, the people there might be nice, and the design they draw up for you might be exactly what you want, but if your artist doesn’t stand up to the points listed above, then you’re going to get a bad tattoo.
It’s okay to walk into a shop, talk with an artist for a while, and decide you don’t want a tattoo from them. Even if the artist has a bad attitude about it or tries to convince you to just let them do it, remember this is going to be on your body for the rest of your life.
Wait wait WAIT! What are the manifestation tips? I’m tryna get like you 👀
The most important one was the scripting. Every day, starting August 1st, I made a list in my journal of everything I wanted. Like so (not my real list):
1. I will make new friends that are loyal, ambitious, and independent by September 2020.
2. I will learn French and be completely fluent by 2022.
I’d write my entire list, and I’d allow myself to tweak them as necessary as the days go on. For example, I might add to the first one a week later “my new friends will introduce me to higher circles and we will help each other move upwards in society.” After I write them all out, then I would repeat them out loud. This is the most important part in my opinion! The Bible says that the tongue holds power over life and death, and that whatever we ask for in truth we will receive. Even if you don’t subscribe to the faith, I highly recommend reading the Bible. Lots of nuggets of wisdom in there! Anyway, I say the list out loud. Throughout the day, I try to work it into conversations with other people so that my goals don’t stay with me only. For example, if a family member asks what you’ve been up to, you can say “I’m learning French. I want to be completely fluent by 2022.” For those who subscribe to the faith, after each recitation I also pray on my manifestations and ask God not only to allow me to be at peace with His divine timing, but also to prepare me into a woman who is ready to handle and accept the responsibilities that come with what I’m asking for. You can simply meditate also!
About halfway through the month, I changed the list from future tense to past/present tense. So my new list looked more like this:
1. I made new friends in September 2020. They are loyal, ambitious, and independent.
2. I’ve been completely fluent in French since 2022.
I still did the recitations, prayers, and conversations, but I spoke about them and thought about them as if they were something that already came to pass.
On the new moon (I think August 18th), I wrote a journal entry. I dated it August 18th and wrote as if the thing I was manifesting was my current life. It could look something like this:
“I went to lunch with the girls today and Amanda introduces us to her sister-in-law Kayla. She’s a CEO of her own company and her husband is the founder of a Fortune 500 company. I recognized her because she was recently featured in Forbes magazine. She’s very funny and beautiful, and she fit in with the group really well. We hit it off and when I explained that I was trying to find investors for my own business, she invited us all to an event her husband’s company is hosting in Paris! She seemed sure that there would be investor potential there and she promised to personally introduce me to as many people as she could. The rest of lunch quickly became about travel plans, schedules, and wardrobes. We’d all leave on the 12th of September on her husband’s private jet and meet him in Paris. We bought our hotel tickets right then and there then followed up lunch with a preemptive shopping trip. I’m so glad I became fluent in French all those years ago!”
That was a bit lengthy, but the idea is to be as specific as possible. When I finished, I folded up the paper, went outside at nighttime, and buried it into the ground. Literally, I planted the seed. On the next full moon, I think I’m going to write out any limiting beliefs I’m holding onto that would hinder my goals and then burn it.
But yeah. That’s what I’m doing, and I’ve really been seeing results. Doing things this way not only puts your intention out into the universe, but it also forces you to speak your intentions into existence, think about them constantly, and make decisions that align with those intentions over those that don’t (i.e. doing another French lesson over watching a fifth episode of Doom Patrol in a row).

in person:
smile! don’t cheese too hard, but smiling will show that you’re happy and open to conversation
ask for help! something as simple as asking for homework help, or to lift something heavy, will give a sense of pride knowing that he/she is needed
leave him/her wanting more. don’t play too hard to get, or they’ll just give up. but don’t go around giving your life story either. find a middle ground
physical contact is one of the most foolproof flirting tips i could give. something as simple as a thigh graze, brush of the arm, or shoulder graze will keep them interested and wanting more
eye contact
flirt a little everywhere you go: with the waiter, the mailman, a taxi driver. practice makes perfect, and you’ll be surprised to see how well this helps when it’s time to actually step up
laugh at his/her jokes even if they aren’t funny. you can admit to their shit jokes only after you’ve snagged them
genuinely compliment them. it’s a great icebreaker and will automatically get this person interested
be yourself! never feel like you need to be a certain version of sexy. you should be liked for who you are
don’t cross your arms: you’ll seem reserved and unapproachable. instead, lean towards the person you’re talking to. maybe cross your legs in their direction, or lean a bit closer
through text:
try not to get too serious or overshare. important things should be discussed in person
don’t reply to every message: it will make you seem busy, and not like you’re waiting for their next reply (even if you are)
don’t force yourself to reply to a text. if things are getting dry, stop texting back. it’ll make him/her want to work harder to grab your attention.
ask about them! don’t go on and on about your life too much. getting to know the other person will keep the conversation going.
don’t underestimate the power of emoji’s
