why the mars signs are problematic

aries mars: doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up. just because you yell and talk over people does NOT mean you have won the argument! these people can come across naive because they just yell and yell and yell and don’t actually state anything of importance. 

taurus mars: irritatingly stubborn for their own good. close minded. possessive to the point where it’s insulting. this placement reminds me of that piece of gum that is stuck to your table that you can’t seem to move. truly believes they’re right about everything in the universe. i actually yawned whilst writing this.

gemini mars: likes to show of their intelligence too much. highly likely to laugh at their own jokes. takes nothing seriously and then wonders why no one takes what they’re saying seriously. goals and dreams change 24/7. at least pretend you’re stable.

cancer mars: needs reassurance every minute.  has a habit of projecting their insecurities onto people. has 4582 tear jars. somehow everything comes down to their emotions? likes staying at home to the point that it’s worrying. has a ‘me day’ 6 days a week.

leo mars: just a lot of shouting. ego central. ‘how will this make me look the best?’. puts on a front. applies for jobs they’re not qualified for. this placement probably puts on a million Instagram stories about why they’re sad and then genuinely expects people to watch all of them….please come back down to earth..

virgo mars: TOO fussy. as long as they’re comfortable everything in the world is okay. puts work before their emotions and then wonders why they feel empty. their words can kill. looks calm but inside it’s like a volcano eruption. loves cleaning programmes.

libra mars: peaceful to the point where it could be considered disturbing. favourite sport is the sofa…and netflix. ask people with this placement: ‘where do you see yourself in the next 2-3 years?’ and then watch them slowly disintegrate inside.

scorpio mars: here is the famous placement. considers themselves as really really scary but truthfully will brood about your insulting comment for the next 80 years and just throw various insults when they can. probably writes lists of people’s pet hates.

sagittarius mars: loves the idea of ‘peace,love and happiness’ but has the most anger issues. anger comes and goes. so fucking energetic it’s tiring. ‘I CAN DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ -gets bored two seconds later- 

capricorn mars: ‘work is my passion’ it shows. you can just hear the exhaustion in their voices. gets high off being right. needs to learn to have fun.  ‘oh there’s a pause in the conversation let me list my very long and extensive list of random achievements!’.

aquarius mars: just really loves to be different and quirky for the sake of it. loves to be the centre of attention but won’t admit it. more dramatic than leo mars. doesn’t understand the concept of social ques. pisses people off just because they can.

pisces mars: can actually be nasty when they become angry. holds a grudge but puts on a smile for show. you never know what’s going on inside their heads. lives in their imagination whilst everything in their life turns to shit. if you actually worked on your talents you wouldn’t need to escape into your imagination 24/7.

it can be silent and it is still triumphant. it can happen in crowded chinese restaurants and cramped dressing rooms and between the pages of your journal and the long-neglected corners of your memories.

your recovery doesn’t have to be loud to matter.

there is strength and dignity in your quiet battle.

Shane Dawson is racist and complicit in racism. He isnt being “manipulated.” His history has always been there. He is friends with Keemstar, Trisha Paytas, Tana Mongeau, and more. All these people have an extensive racist history, just as him. His business partner is Jeffree Star, a literal racist who made Nazi makeup products and was verbally abusive towards black artists, esp black women. Even now JS is still getting exposed for his mistreatment of black people and Shane remains by his side creating products together.

Stop shifting the blame on Shane being ‘gullible’ and ‘easily manipulated.’ He doesn’t need protecting. He is a GROWN ASS MAN. Hold him accountable. Let’s also not forget Shane’s older videos where he joked about r*ping young girls which idk if he ever even apologized for. There’s plenty more white gays on YouTube with corny humor to watch.

fyi to yall in quarantine whos grasp on reality is getting a little slippery: isolation, intense boredom, stress and lack of positive routine are absolutely contributing factors to exacerbating psychosis and psychosis-adjacent disorders, even latent ones. im not saying this to fearmonger im saying it so u can recognise it and take steps to handle it especially if it induces your first ever episode.

some warning signs can include

starting to believe unusual things that you previously did not believe (e.g. living in a simulation / you or others around you not being real / secretly being in hell or dead / otherworldly beings communicating with you somehow / government conspiracies / everyone around you is out to get you and harboring ill intent)

seeing things youre pretty sure arent there (e.g. shadow people, floating lights, stationary objects moving on their own, animals in a house that doesnt have pets)

hearing things (e.g. murmured voices, occasional clear and loud voices, faint music, scratching sounds, any without a source)

feeling a sense of dread or generalised paranoia, a sense that you are being watched or that something terrible is looming on the horizon but you dont know what

having extra trouble putting your thoughts in order and speaking coherently, cannot concentrate, space out to the point of feeling slightly catatonic

those most at risk are anyone with a family history of this vein of mental illness as well as those using certain drugs to get through the tedium of quarantine - if this is you, its best to research whether the substances youre using have documented links to triggering episodes of psychosis in users. weed is included in this, not just psychoactive drugs.

here are some steps you can take to get a handle on the situation if your grasp on reality is slipping like this and you cant access irl mental health resources.

have a routine. this is vitally important - you need structure. set an alarm for a specific time every day, even though you have nowhere to be. give yourself a bedtime. eat 2 meals a day, at least, at regular times.

leave the house. no, i dont mean Go Out, just be outside for a while every day or two. go for a walk if you can. stand outside your house for 15 minutes paying attention to the cars and the birds and the breeze and the clouds if you cant. really observe your surroundings. get sunlight.

on that note - let as much natural light into your house as possible during waking hours. your circadian rhythm needs it.

take up some form of hobby that requires physical engagement - whether thats journaling, drawing, making origami, gardening, cooking. the point of this is to ground yourself in your body and the world around you, have an affect on your surroundings, and stimulate your brain.

dont dwell on your delusions, hallucinations or distressing trains of thought if you can help it. that isnt to say "snap out of it and just dont have symptoms", but rather accept them without either judging them or overindulging in them. observe them as they happen, accept that they happen, and let it go, if you can. you may not be able to control the experiences, but you can control how you react to them, and the best case scenario is not allowing them to overwhelm your thoughts and your days. this is much easier said than done, especially if the experiences are distressing in nature, but the aim is to sever the feedback loop that causes further stress and thus further bad extrasensory experiences.

this is honestly just a basic surface scratch of advice though bc im by no means an expert, just someone w latent psychosis who used to work in the field for a while. there are tons of resources online by others who have experienced psychosis that can be a huge help if u think you might be at risk due to the stress, boredom and uncertainty of quarantine
