So I just realized smth from the new animated short (which I also posted abt because Arles hands becoming less dark when she's with Clervie is so wholesome but so sad) BUT
I think she'll have second thoughts abt making Lyney be the next head of the hearth cuz she'll realize she's becoming like the previous knave or "Mother" who forced the children to compete to become "king"
She even uses the term "King" in the trailer iirc instead of "head of the house of the hearth" or just "head" or "father" or "knave"
And we know she doesn't want to be like the previous head because instead of being a "mother" that acts like she cares but actually doesnt, she calls herself a "strict and unfeeling father" despite the fact that she clearly does care
So maybe she'll realize she's becoming like the previous knave, forcing Lyney to do things he doesn't want to so he'll become the next "king", even if those things don't involve killing other house members
She's clearly empathetic considering she held a funeral for a literal spider, so it's not like she has no feelings or emotions at all
And pierro called her "poor, mad, cursed knave" suggesting she didn't really want to be the next knave—another reason she might empathize with Lyney and have second thoughts
AND their fight also mirrors hers—she fought alone against her "mother" after all her family died, but because of Arle's changes Lyney fights his "father" with the help of his siblings
And hopefully the outcome won't be one of them dying
SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP WTF
everyone was expecting her fight to be her testing / training the Traveler BUT THIS!?!?!
(spoilers for Lyney / Lynette / Freminet lore, it's found in their character bios / voicelines but doesn't spoil anything in the archon quests)
The siblings standing up to her and her fighting them???!??! This is so insane I—
It definitely looks serious considering that she's gone into her crazy balemoon form, and the fact that Freminet is blocking her very deadly looking strike and also going straight for her head
I know Lyney has a voiceline about having to become the next head of the House of the Hearth, and not wanting us to tell his siblings because they'll worry
Perhaps they find out here and all 3 decide to convince Arle to let Lyney make his own decision about that matter
It also seems that they got assigned a mission they don't want to complete, perhaps involving someone they know or don't want to kill (Freminet saying Lyney is hiding the person Father is looking for, Lynette asking why Arle's backed them into a corner, etc)
Judging by the opening lines of the trailer (some familiar faces not being present, etc) and details in the siblings' voicelines it's clear they're sent on dangerous missions and are always avoiding death by the skin of their teeth, and definitely aren't living normal lives
Also Freminet says that crying is looked down on / considered weak by Arle, so he always bottles up his emotions and lets them out at the literal bottom of the ocean; their childhood was definitely not great, even if Arle saved them from even worse fates
Like they never really experienced a normal childhood so I doubt they realize that the stuff going on in the House of the Hearth isn't anywhere near ideal
The special program also implies that Arle is very strict and the siblings have been affected negatively by this (stuff Daman / Lyney's VA says, etc)
I really hope that Arle sees their logic and backs down so I don't feel entirely terrible about pulling for her / liking her character because if she's willing to kill any of the siblings I'm going to be absolutely furious at her—
We do know she cares about them and gets very angry when they're mistreated or when they want to risk their lives when their are other options (her anger at people in Freminet / Lynette's past and when Lyney wants to risk his life and get a delusion to be able to perform on the same level as Lynette, before he got his vision)
ALSO I'm not going to ramble abt this as much but CYNO'S STORY QUEST!??!?!? From what I gather it seems Sethos was another candidate to receive the god's power (that Cyno has) and feels that he should have gotten it rather than Cyno for some reason?? Can't wait to see what's up with that as well
(also not Cyno and Yoimiya getting second story quests before Venti help—)
trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYZW7wH3pVM&t=58s
I JUST NOTICED THIS DETAIL IM FREAKING OUT
When Arle is sad abt her spider dying her curse acts up and her hands get darker, then they become less dark until they're almost entirely normal when she's with Clervie, but once Clervie dies they blacken again and the markings, long nails, and red nails show up
Also maybe she made her title "Father" so she wouldn't have to hear herself referred to with the same title as the previous Knave who killed the person who was seemingly her only friend
For the Full Res since I know it's like REALLY hard to read (tbh even on dA you might have to just zoom in like 500% and also on dA hit full screen and you should be able to read it. It's mostly including pokedex entries or stuff I found on bulbapedia to further support why I pokemon where they are in the timeline/family tree and stuff
PTA (PokeTale: Ascendance) Legendary and Mythical Pokemon timeline or Family Tree (specifically for my Undertale/Pokemon AU), including Headcanons and so on.
About the lines and stuff and connections:
Black lines are Creation Lines.
Aka for Pokemon directly and intentionally created by another Legendary like Arceus Example: Personally, i like to think that Arceus came first as well and created some of the "bigger" Pokemon Gods *like the Creation Trio and Lake Trio* and then Mew was the last one after the Earth was made/Universe and all that stuff. Though I also personally headcanon that Arceus also created more Pokemon than just the 7.
Like The Original Dragon (or Reshi, Zek, and Kyurem since they're the OG dragon that got split in half) as well as the Life and Death duo ((simply just because... ya know. The literal GODS of Life/Death/Truth/Idealism etc., kinda just sounds like they would be right up there in terms of power scaling with the literal Gods of Space, Time, and Antimatter/Gravity *for the Life Deer and Death bird* and Truth/Idealism, etc. kinda sounds like the Lake Trio territory *Being they're the literal gods of Knowledge, Determination/Willpower, and Emotion* and humans just haven't figured it out yet when writing the Pokedex entries))
(Plus, as much research as I did on Xerneas, Yveltal, and the Tao Trio, nothing I looked up reaaaaaaaally didn't give me an answer on where the hell they came from, unlike most other legendaries soooo ye. Going with my headcanon instead for my AU)
Note: All Legendaries besides the Creation Trio, Lake Trio, Tao, and X/Y duo are more or less all created by the Mew species before they all eventually basically went extinct except for one. Same thing for the humans as well. I believe all humans and Pokemon were mews back in the day, like 10 billion years or so ago, then eventually, through convergent evolution or whatever, they all became what the Pokemon world is today. (And yes. In PTA, Mew was created by Arceus. Arceus was the original/first Pokemon to be made)
The red lines are Related links. Pokemon like the Legendary Dogs was created by Ho-oh when he revived the Pokemon that died from the Burnt Tower. Or Legendary Birds being governed over by Lugia as implied by the Pokemon 2000 movie etc.
Purple lines are the avatar lines. Covering Pokemon that are more or less on Arceus level or even being straight-up stronger than Arceus, like Ultra Necrozma (Ultra Necrozma has a base stat total of 754 which is a fair amount higher than Arceus's previous record of 720.) Also, same reason why I added Eternatus to this (besides also the fact Eternatus straight up looks like a MASSIVE hand in his Gigantimax form, which makes me think Eternatus could have been a part of Arceus at one point but then accidentally fell off or something while Arceus was making all these pokemon/the universe and shit) and even the third legendary from Scarlet and Violet that's been hella implied throughout the whole game. At least just guessing by the whole mystery surrounding it-
Blue lines are artificial lines. Aka, artificial Pokemon made by humans like Mewtwo, Type: Null etc. It's basically self-explanatory.
Pink lines are monitor lines Example: We know from the pokedex Heatran was created from a volcano/lava pool (which was created by Groudon waaaaaaaay back in the early stages of the Earth being made/Groudon creating the continents etc.) Ho-oh is added cuz of his connection to a phoenix and phoenix's are created from ash etc. Ash comes from volcanoes sooo that's why I added him as part of the Groudon fam/part of his sort of "Court" in a sense as a lesser God that sorta serves Groudon etc. and miiiiiight be implied o be the God of Resurrection? or Lugia being Guardian of the Oceans to help Kyogre who's King of the Ocean/God of it etc.
And finally, the yellow line is the Adaption line. Example: Like how the Koraidons had to adapt to the future changing and learn to use his freaking wheels built into his body to become cyclizar then even more modified into miraidon- (maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe same can work the Tao trio?) them adapting to being split into 2 or 3 technically-
-------------
And before anyone says shit like "Uwu this pokemon shouldnt be connected to this because in canon it doesn't say so" I didnt want to just have every single legendary connected to Mew even if in my headcanon i said that Mew HELPED in creating all these legendaries.
Like for example I think a Pokemon like Celebi was "made" by Dialga cuz it has time powers so I kinda feel like Mew made Celebi but Dialga also helped maybe giving Celebi some of its powers so it can time travel and so on.
But also, other legendaries are like- kinda implied to have a connection to this legendary (Like Melloetta singing to make people happy sounds like something that's in Mesprits kingdom or whatever or something she'd rule over, so that's why I had Melloetta as TECHNICALLY being Mesprits kid) and so on.
And it doesn't help either 50% of the time past maybe the 5th gen its like nintendo stopped caring giving all these legendaries cool backstories and stuff or they just KINDA exist to like- giving a prince a ride (looking at the 2 horses from Galar) or Victini being the "Victory" God etc.
--------------------------------------
Oh yeah, also in case anyone wondering why the Hell Zero is also here/eventually becomes Chara's adopted Sibling is because at some point after the Giratina movie, and he leaves Jail he ends up in Paldea and basically eventually meets Iono and ends up on her streams and stuff and they kinda end up dating in PTA (since both like electric-type Pokemon and have Magnetons and shit)
Chara eventually runs into him again and they talk out about what happened and what Zero almost did to the Giratinas and smoltina and after realizing he changed and such she began to trust him and eventually he ends up as a part of the Arceus family as her brother
Also I crackship Iono and Zero. Cuz I think it'd be a cute ship
----------------------------------------------
For PokeTale: Ascendance
An AU based off of an RP between me and a friend of mine from my Discord server discord.gg/pQf9ZsdF6E where the Creation Trio as babies (a time they all cant really fully control their powers and junk) accidentally create a portal into the Undertale Universe and meet Chara and basically Arceus finds Chara and adopts her after finding out about her shitty human parents and Chara ends up helping Arceus raise the babies and basically lives in the Pokemon Universe now
Even Heroes have Haters ( Ok ko Theory )
I sometimes have a theory that if Chip were to have his own mind and free will without the whole remotely controlled from foxtail thing. He would probably bottle up his emotions, remembering all the things he done to those students back at POINT prep.
Knowing that he’s programmed to be an inspiration to future heroes he has to stay in character even if it means lying. It made me think about what Chip’s real personality would be without the hero act. Either insecure, anxious, sometimes depressed, or kinda upset. Like the Boxmore robots who want to make their dad, Lord Boxman, proud despite all the rebooting and countless defeats they get while still going with their programming to destroy heroes.
So just like Chip he would still want to inspire heroes to be better so that his creator or other POINT members to be proud about his work. I’m honestly kinda hoping he would get a second chance and just live a normal life but I guess that even if they were once famous nothing will change the fact. Maybe that’s why he shut himself down because his only purpose was to be a role model for everyone. And since Elodie took his place he’s no longer to be one anymore.
But even with his actions he still have some enemies he have fought in the past, if one of his enemies found out about him all of their efforts were for nothing. Maybe another reason why he shut himself down, so he wouldn’t cause anymore trouble for everyone. I really feel bad for the poor guy, just because he was an Android doesn’t mean he have to accept his fate to disappear like that.
Unlike Holo-Jane she accepts the world is not real but with KO’s help she learns that it’s all about seeing in their perspectives. I wonder if those two know each other? Knowing that Chip learned the truth about himself I’m sure he couldn’t handle more. Makes him sound like he’s some what... a sensitive coward. A robot that was Damaged beyond repair, even if it’s just a chip.
There is evidence of elongated skulls in many different places around the world. In Egypt, these skulls are often found in graves from the Old and Middle Kingdom periods. They are also found in Peru and have been used in religious ceremonies for centuries. In North America, many Native communities have traditionally worn these types of headdresses and jewelry. The presence of elongated skulls in ancient history proves that human anatomy has been changing for thousands of years.
The Egyptians appear to have used the elongated skulls as ornaments for their tombs. ‘‘The priests of the time believed that the gods would transfer their souls to the bodies of their ancestors after they died, so it was important to provide the deceased with nice things to help them reach the afterlife. They also may have had practical uses. They believed they used them to drain water from their underground temples, prone to flooding. The Indigenous people’s of Peru also used the elongated skulls as grave goods. Because they believed that the spirits of their dead ancestors resided inside the skulls, they were buried with these artifacts near the head of the body to aid their passage into the afterlife. According to the Inca civilization, it was up to the priests to pass judgment on whether or not a person was worthy enough to enter the afterlife. They also used the skulls for divination and a good luck charm to protect them from harm.’’
There are many theories about how elongated skulls came to exist. One theory is that they are the remains of an extinct race of people that lived on Earth thousands of years ago. These "giants" may have lived alongside the Native Americans or descended from an earlier human civilization during the Ice Age. Another theory is that they were created artificially using clay, metal, or wood molds. ‘‘As the Spanish colonized the Americas, many different cultures were exposed to new ideas about science and medicine. As a result, many of these people began experimenting with new ways to create artificial body parts. Besides tattooing, intentional scarring, piercing, and teeth sharpening, intentional cranial deformation is another form of mutilation of the human body and is associated with the cultural background of society. It has been related to religion, aestheticism, beauty, or facilitating tribal identity.’’
Discovering the dreaded conspiracy theory through an anthropological lens, these notes basically ask the question of where and how people created theories based on their mistrust of systemic agencies, or unexplainable events.
i have one piece theories but only insane ones

SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT LMFAO
BUT WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED IN THE FIFTH CHAPTER OF DON'T HUG ME IM SCARED
ㅤㅤ
THEY JUST- CHANGED REALITY
THEY-
WTF
ㅤㅤ
THEY JUST CAME OUT OF THE PROGRAM
RED GUY KICKED THEM OFF THE SHOW
Red guy kicked them off the show...
ㅤㅤ
RED GUY KICKED THEM OFF THE SHOW BECAUSE ROY WAS GETTING BACK IN CONTROL OF HIS SHOW
RED GUY DID NOT WANT TO BE CONTROLLED AGAIN
RED GUY WANTED TO SAVE THEM FROM ROY
THAT'S WHY HE DIDN'T WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT HOUSE
red guy did not want what happened in the first season to happen again...
That's why he hates Roy so much... because Roy tortured them... and he realized that he came back... when he deactivated the machine roy wasn't completely gone... Roy wants to continue promoting his food in a shady way... misinforming the viewers of the show... torturing duck, red guy and yellow guy... Roy wants to keep punishing his son... and red guy wants to stop him...
maybe he didn't know they would change reality, but he didn't want to inform the others either, because he didn't want to scare them
the chapter where everything became traumatizing again...
Oh god...
i made another thing because all i see are theories on that video. im sure you know which one
Yeah, our grandma has that mirror for a reason. I think supernob mentioned that in the puppet world, all puppets have four fingers. How many fingers are on that hand? That's right four.
Grandma knows something
On top of that, I've also been seeing theories that the entity is our grandpa.
Theory about Threadville!
( tagging @st4rry4543 so they can see it!)
So we know how Threadville is in this kind of other world right?
And that we came here because of our sweet grandmas mirror? Well..
What if Threadville was a show and the producers somehow made the mirror portal to film it? But our grandma (I’m calling her Rebecca now hehe) in a turn of events was trusted with the portal because she designed the puppets?
This could open a lot of questions and answers. Like it could explain how she even HAS a magical mirror portal in her attic, but it also raises the question…like- why was it concealed? Well I have the answer (for this theory)
Human interaction was corrupting the world.
Okay okay hear me out on this! The puppeteer guy could be like a person who..Yaknow ACTUALLY puppeteers the puppets? Or like I don’t know told them what to do? And they could’ve gotten trapped as a spirt/Entity in the threadville world. Because what happens when us, A technically human shows up? BAM! Rocky turns..
Maybe the world needs two technically humans to be in threadville in order for the corruption to work! And ALSOOO! My idea for where charlotte came from was that, Rebecca found a baby puppet and decided to like, Make it into baby Charolette! And she had to quickly get her to threadville without being there too long to actually start corrupting the world! Hence why nobody saw the “parent” of Charolette! And this could mean there IS an exit from threadville but only people who worked on the show and Rebecca know how to get out.
Might add on this later!!!
Seeya peeps
Speaking of my Infinity Gauntlet theory, this graphic edit by UltraRaw26 makes me salivate.
GIVE IT TO ME NOW, MARVEL.
“The power required to use all of the stones at once is so significant that it sends Thanos into this dream state. You’ll notice his arm is damaged post the snap, the gauntlet is damaged post the snap, it’s the incredible energy required from it and only because of his strength is he able to survive actually using the gauntlet in that capacity.” - Joe Russo, Director of Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, & Avengers 4
There’s been two quotes – one from screenwriter Christopher Markus and one from director Joe Russo – emphasizing Thanos required energy and suffered damage to his left arm to use the Infinity Gauntlet. What’s odd is these are two things associated with Tony, which makes me think there’s a likelihood we’ve been getting hints all along Tony will use the gauntlet to reverse what Thanos has done.
… Maybe it’s been in front of us the whole time:
Tony: “[Howard] was cold, he was calculating. He never told me he loved me. He never even told me he liked me, so it’s a little tough for me to digest when you’re telling me he said the whole future was riding on me and he’s passing it down. I don’t get that.”
Howard [to Tony]: “[The New Element] is the key to the future. I’m limited by the technology of my time, but one day you’ll figure this out. And when you do, you will change the world. What is and always will be my greatest creation is you.“
A comprehensive list of evidence Tony Stark is the one to wield the Infinity Gauntlet (since I’ve spattered this content through like 5 posts now):

I know many are fearful about Tony’s fate after Avengers: Infinity War, but despite my thinking Tony’s going to wield the Infinity Gauntlet, I still think he’s going to survive the events of Avengers 4.
Here’s yet another compilation post (because I can’t help myself). Under the read more.

So I started watching Wandavision tonight, and I do already know some spoilers just from being around on tumblr when it first came out, but we just got through episode 3 and it's hitting me. Basically, this is Storybrooke and Wanda is Regina.
Except instead of taking away everyone else's happy endings, she's just trying to give herself her own. But really, that was what Regina was trying to do too, and it's definitely seeming like Wanda has also taken away the happy endings of others, intentionally or not. So in its essence, this is like Once Upon a Time for comic book characters (but without everyone turning up being related somehow ;) lol).
I've already talked a small bit about kyoka and dazai on this blog, but I have more!
So something that I've always thought is how kyoka was controlled through her phone, right? (Or well her ability) and she was hold by a tight leash because she would (and kinda has) tried to stop killing people by all means necessary as soon as she got even a glimmer of hope.
She was unpredictable and so was dazai. If I remember there was at least two scenes of dazai calling with mori (reporting back etc etc) and I've always thought of that as a bit odd because I don't think there was a scene of chuuya doing the same or any other member (as far as I remember).
My point is that I think dazai and kyoka were held by a tight leash so that they wouldn't do something that was avoidable (for dazai kill himself or take over the world and for kyoka try to escape)
Again I'm just rambling but it's something I wanted to get out there yk
just realised I wrote kyoukas name wrong but I'm too lazy to change it so sorry
So I was rewatching the Walten Files and came to a few different conclusions. Everyone in the fandom seems to think Bon is Jack, form what I see, but it wasnt clicking to me. After all, Bon killed Rosie, and it wouldnt make sense for Jack to kill his wife if he loved her- I get the whole “Jack lost it after losing his kids” but something really just wasnt clicking for me, so I did some deducting.
For a bit I assumed Jack was actually ShowBear for the above reason plus; He guided Sophie towards the truth, he seems much more of a “passive” presence, and idk he kinda fucking looks like Jack:
Like. Same fucking face shape and everything; if this was the case I assumed that maybe Bon was someone we havent met yet who was involved with Jack and Felix in some way.
And then I noticed some things:
“Rose should be home by then. If shes not, you call me. Got it?”
This made me think, alright. Could be a husband concerned about his wife. But outta nowhere? Why would Jack be concerned when Rosie is a functioning adult. Like what would he have to worry about? Why would he be worried about her not being back 4 hours when she was supposed to, while hes running the company and not home? Worried your wife not coming home from taking your daughter to the dentist isnt exactly normal unless he had a reason to think otherwise.
My immediate thought was that maybe Rose was cheating on Jack, or Jack suspected she was.
I really dont want that to be true, but then someone in the comments brought this up:
Theyre fucking right.
Wolf in sheeps clothing: Implying not everything is as it seems/ the wolf is lying.
Thinking deeper into this. Bon was playing “Hide and Seek” with Sha aka Rosie. That could be an implication to Jack having to go find Rosie because she may have been cheating. (Sophie also finds Sha in a chicken coop (?) Barn? only thing that could be thought of there is “roll in the hay” aka she was found cheating with someone else maybe?)
Not only this, but Rosie asks Sophie if shes “still beautiful”.
Jack could be concerned that when Rosie takes Sophie to the dentist, Rose could be cheating. That could imply that shes cheating with Sophie right there.
That could mean Rose is asking Sophie if Sophie still essentially loves her, or a better worded equivalent, after seeing her mother cheat on her father/ seeing her mother do something ugly.
(Sidenote, in the Relocation tape, Rosie is asking “Sophie, where am I?” Maybe Sophie saw the whole thing? WHy would she be asking for Sophie? Also Im pretty sure this shadow character is Felix, implying he saw what happened to Rosie to an extent,)
Moving on, @ LadyJadeShade on twitter mentioned to me that Bons chest is ripped out- could be implying Jacks heart is ripped out bc of Rosie cheating.
Taking that into consideration, I could 100% see why Jack would be angry enough to kill Rose while in turmoil in the Bon animatronic. That, and Ive heard that Little Bon could be representing Sophie which would make sense if her father is in/possessing Bon. (And Bon seemed to be having a mental breakdown after the kids where shown to be dead in the Bunny Farm video.)
TLDR; Rose might have been cheating on Jack, hence why he wanted to kill her in the first place after his death.
“He had 3 beautiful children,“
And maybe he wanted to “make his wife beautiful” too?
Another concern as well is, how did Jack die? I originally wanted to say if he was she showbear, then whatever was in Bon killed Jack, but that kinda went out the window.
Those are just some thoughts for now, if anything has been officially said that contradicts this stuff then lmk
Interesting, to be fair that's if they manage to defeat the devil in the first place, so a lot can happen, I didn't remember that it dissipated, but it will be an interesting season regardless if that happens or not, A difficult foe to deal with, it will be more of a challenge than previous seasons and I'm excited for it.
A realization
I was thinking... Henri did mark Arthur with a ritual that basically ties the affected's life to the life of the person casting it, right?...
That means if they somehow manage to kill the devil, which technically is still Henri... there's a high likelihood Arthur may die next season, he likely still has that carved on him, he didn't get that removed like he did with the spying one that was on his back I think.
Next season will be interesting to say the least.
Okaaaaaay! Wild theory time that many will say is totally incorrect!
This theory is partially inspired by this post by @twinterrors29
https://at.tumblr.com/twinterrors29/boba-fetts-reputation-as-the-best-bounty-hunter/cbubdg5i3k36
But it is also just a wild mind tangent that I came up with. Now on with the theory!
...
Boba Fett is a feared bounty hunter, he's been in the game since he was 10 years old, since his father the great Jango Fett died.. He's good at what he does. He's respected and revered. But here's the thing...
Anyone could be Boba Fett.
Throughout canon many have been Boba Fett. In old canon the name Boba Fett was just alias used by Jaster Mereel. It wasn't until "Attack of the Clones" was released that anyone had even heard of Jango. And during "The Clone Wars" TV show, during the arc at the end of season 2, we see that no one can differentiate between Boba and the other clones.
So where am I going with this?
This:
Is not Boba Fett.
Or...well...he might be.
Don't believe me? Neither do I. Here's some shaky proof:
Boba Fett was born in roughly 32 BBY and the show "The Mandalorian" takes place in roughly 9 ABY, which makes Boba Fett approximately 41 years old. During the events of "Attack of the Clones" Jango Fett is 44 years old having been born in 66 BBY (the beginning of the Clone Wars was in 22 BBY lasting till 19 BBY). During which time he looked like this:
(It's hard to find a good photo of him.)
Now YES, the actor has aged, Boba fell into a Sarlacc and is dealing with scaring, and he has spend the last 5 years on Tatooine (we all know how this goes for people...)
But this ⬆️ is the work of 20 years.
Case in point, I have a hard time believing that Boba and Jango are roughly the same age, I mean look:
One obviously hasn't aged as delicately as the other.
There's not really much that can explain this, we fans just look over it because we love Temuera Morrison so much (I love him too).
But who do we know who have accelerated aging that would explain this difference? The other clones, of course.
The clones (with the exception of Boba) were genetically modified so that they would age at twice the normal human rate, at 10 they were physically and mentally 20, and battle ready.
But they aged at twice the normal human rate, why would a 40 year old look 60 instead of 80?
Well there's a simple answer. Deceleration.
In the Republic Commando books, Skirata finds a way to slow the clones aging down to a normal human rate. Unfortunately nothing in canon has shown that this is possible, but as many have pointed out, Rex was looking really spry in "Rebels."
So it is possible that some 10 years after the war, a cure was found.
During the year 19 BBY the clones were roughly 26-28 years old, ten years later in 9 BBY when the "Kenobi" series take place, clones without decelerate aging would appear nearly 50 years old, and lucky for us we see a 501st trooper in a cameo:
Now, he's obviously older and grizzly, but he still more closely resembles the younger Boba Fett than Jango who is closer to his age physically.
...
I'm not saying that anything I've said here is definitive proof that the Boba Fett from "The Book of Boba Fett" and "The Mandalorian" is a Padmé decoy, far from it. But I am saying that there's enough here that there's a chance that it's true. Especially with the drastic personality change that we see from Boba in the original series, stern and serious, dangerous. A personality that even carries over into "The Clone Wars" and the Boba Fett young readers books, though technically Legends now. This new Boba is not the stoic and legendary bounty hunter we know, and that may be the point, but it won't stop me from theorizing.
After all this may be the real Boba Fett:
Or maybe this one:
Or this one!
Or maybe the real Boba is dead.
We may never know...
Which is the real Boba? Are they all the same Boba? How many Bobas are there?
What if the Boba Fett we've come to know and love, isn't even the real Boba Fett?
Space is so creepy and wonderful. Who the hell needs hell when there’s space.
Like there’s an old constellation called Eridanus that you can see in the southern sky, and its not a very interesting constellation. It’s a river. It’s actually the water that’s pouring out of Aquarius, so in the sky it’s kind of boring. It’s a path of stars.
But within Eridanus, in between the stars, there’s a place where the background radiation is unexplainably cold. Because after the Big Bang, there was all this light that scattered everywhere, and it’s the oldest light in the universe, but we can’t see it. It’s so dim that it only shows up as a glow of microwaves, so to us, it just looks like the blackness of the night.
But there’s this spot in Eridanus where that little glow of ancient microwaves isn’t what it should be. It’s cold and dark.
And it’s enormous. Like a billion light year across. Of mostly just emptiness. And we don’t know why. One theory is that it’s simply a huge void, like a place where there are no galaxies. Voids like that do exist. Most of them are smaller, but they’re a sort of predictable part of the structure of the universe. The cold spot in Eridanus, if it were a void, would be so enormous that it would change how we understand the universe.
But another theory is that this cold spot is actually the place where a parallel universe is tangled with our own.
I've never done an album analysis before an album
like what if I'm wrong...but what is I'm right tho
Anyway I always thought a feature for a future album could definitely happen but it would have to be a foreign artist..wouldn't it?
Idk.
But anyway I really think it's going to be more symbolic than literal, the reality it the amount of spiritual messages in albums is paramount, so it's really what the focus is supposed to be on.
Bathtubs
the last album was about reality swapping and the fallen angel symbology was heavy in peaches but it was undercurrent. So if the main theme is water this time it's probably going to have more to do with the properties of water, such as how space and time and fluid.
he usually models his work after female black artists so if I look at some of their similar projects it should align at least a little bit.
But he also loves white male old hollywood and "imitated" elvis in his last album
which explains the black and blonde cause elvis was a natural blonde who dyed his hair black.
I think this is a remake? or inspired by one of elvis's actual suits
also the barber shop thing was really subtle
Like they do all these little things but if an interviewer ever asked them about it they'd be like huh what who?
He loved barber shops and doing his hair he couldn't leave it alone.
also elvis' military haircut was documented as well so I'm wondering if mimicking that was a joke? were they trynna be funny?
Did he get too into character again?
But if I had to guess, he wouldn't do the same thing twice back to back.
Hmm...thailand, water, pseudo spiritual, rnb and reggae again....
I'm going with a baby boy type island theme maybe a bit of survior.
also he's been trying to show his bellydancing off for years but the choreo and the music has never really called for it.
I think it's gonna be like a temple theme but probably similar to the mhmm kind of vibe but when he was in the white temple them. I think that's what I'm locking in. Usually I don't do this but I've been pleasantly surprised by the fact that they actually listened to feedback and he stopped dancing to corny kpop challenges cause it just wasn't working. So I think they are able to cut waste and bad ideals better and also work to their strengths and this is his strength to be honest.
Okay this was fun if I'm completely wrong oh well
But I think I'm right.
(Long introduction for context)
This one is so old. I did research on this, like, around the time peaches came out. I have way too many notes; some I deleted, and only God knows where they are now. I’m not spending a whole day looking for them, and I need something to focus my attention on that makes my brain cells work. So I’m going off the dome. It’s actually better when I do that because I do active research instead of looking at old notes, and I can find new info.
So what is the theory? Well, long story short, I had a theory that Kai of EXO was actually a character, which he is technically; all celebs are. They are named by their company, given a backstory, a personality, and Exo even had ‘powers.’. Like, babe, that’s a character, obvi. In this train of thought, a character has to be played by a real person. We are given that much information by the company. The actor playing the character Kai of Exo is Kim Jongin. Story over... right? Well, maybe so, but that’s not how my brain works.
Backstory to this. I actually wasn’t always an inquisitive person. I years ago was actually pretty dull. I spent most of my time worrying about grades, being a good kid, and, I don't know, iCarly, Victorious, and memes. But then I found K-pop; I was super curious about everything because it was so new to me. I had to learn everything I could. This was easy because I liked world history and learning about different cultures and stuff. I think Growl was the first mv I saw. I wasn’t too familiar with K-pop, but I did know it existed, vaguely. To be honest, it was just something taking up my time. I was just monitoring it and watching, learning names. It was during the One Direction era.
(historical context)
One direction the boys that walked so boybands could rise again. People talk bad about them but forget they single-handedly made boybands cool again. There were others, but the impact wasn’t the same. 1D was the blueprint of the up-and-coming boy bands that would later try and break into the American market. They cracked the code. They were parent-friendly but sensual enough to keep the tweens/teens/young adults crushing on them. Fanfiction culture was also impacted. Many forget it was a Harry Styles fanfic that made fanfic normal and somehow socially acceptable enough to come out of the shadows of fandom and be something talked about in media/out in the open. (moral of the story: don’t do them—slander won’t be tolerated)
Anyway, I was familiar with boy band fandom, the shipping, fan service, the weird pandering, etc. The only differences for me were the dancing, the odd music style, and the language. It took some time getting used to. It was so hard getting used to the cultural differences and the style of talking. The odd monologuing/sarcastic banter that’s borderline rude. It was hard to tell when people were being funny or cruel. I still have trouble with that, but years later I realize it’s cultural, but you can tell where people are coming from by their tone.
I say all this to say it was difficult adjusting. I was interested in the group and wanted to know as much about them as possible, BUT I spent so much time trying to learn everything I could, and by the time I became completely accustomed to the behavior and culture and language, I realized I didn’t even like the group that much. The music was good; at the time, the members were okay; sometimes they were funny—but not all the time. Overall, by the 2nd year of being into K-pop, I was like
IDK—it’s probably just me, but all the drama, gossip, and people caring that grown adults were dating... Like it was so odd because I grew up on J-14.
Going from everybody being super chill about their fave dating, getting married, or having babies to this
Grown adults getting in trouble with their fans... for what? Like it was just weird, and due to hive mentality, I was like coming into agreement with it and thinking, Oh, that’s just how things are over there... like, no." It’s not right. Just so many things were weird, but I said nothing because I didn’t want to be the odd one out.
Cause don’t get me wrong, everybody watches E! news and celeb gossip, and that’s not our business either, but that’s out in the open; that that’s people telling you this is my person, and I am dating them. Yeah, sure, some of it is fake, but it’s openly fake. This is odd because even though these dispatch couples were revealed, they don’t go places together or do interviews talking about one another. There’s a layer of shame because idols are dolls who are ‘dating’ their fans.
Now I won’t judge; all I’ll say is I got a lot of evidence suggesting this is gonna lead to an AI pixel perfect.
turned horror movie;
(mobile boyfriend 2009)
where there are apps where you can see, talk to, and text an AI version of your favorite idol
where you can have a fake version of your idol in your phone, but plot twist: it's a demon... Anyway, I’m getting off track; that’s another thread. The point is stuff was getting weird; I was slowly backing away and just distancing myself, but a few things were keeping me from dropping K-pop and just focusing on school and other stuff. One, like many women, once you invest emotionally into something, it’s hard to leave; two, I was a tad bit concerned about Kai; he was injured around that time.
and I felt bad about dropping the group because usually when I drop something, it’s for good. I may check up on it out of curiosity, but I will never care (like really care) ever again. So I was teetering.
Eventually I just gave up and decided my mental health and having my head on straight was better than being in a cult.
Long story short, around 2021ish I was like, What’s been going on?" I just went on a journey and became more aware, so somehow I came back to K-pop. To make a long story short.
So when I saw Kai’s face for the first time in a long time, I didn’t really notice anything too different. Slightly, but I thought maybe it was just aging, plastic surgery, fillers; I really didn’t know, but something was off.
So I started looking at his photos, and at this point he had released a lot of his old childhood photos. And again it wasn’t too drastic, but I’m not normal; I was looking hard.
Now, a disclaimer: this isn’t proof of anything; it’s just stuff I notice. I talk a lot, but it’s just brain ideas coming out to breathe. It’s more so just to make people see a different perspective. Use your creativity. Life is as interesting as you make it.
So when I started looking at the photos, I first paid attention to the thing that, if different, couldn’t be a coincidence; there’s no way these body parts can just change over time or with p.s. That means the face can be used but only sort of. Plastic surgery can change a lot, but upkeep changes more than the initial surgery. No surgery equals perfection, and after the surgery, minor surgeries afterwards are necessary. So it’s necessary to look at childhood photos to understand the initial facial structure (which can change but only so much); they more so develop or morph, elongate, etc., but only so much. I’d say like 90 percent of the time, most people can recognize someone from child to adult by the small features: the way they smile, or the way their teeth look, or their ears, or their eye shape. Plastic surgery is... it’s a thing, but as long as it’s not total facial reconstruction, it’s a nonfactor. You can usually tell what’s unnatural by looking at childhood photos.
Anyway, I looked and looked and looked, and I don’t know for sure now because it’s been a while since I’ve even considered this, but I trust my notes, and I remember I took a lot of notes, and it is one of the only theories I’ve given my golden stamp of approval. This is why I’m talking so much in the buildup. This isn’t some joke. I’m not saying it’s true, but I did work hard on it. If I could find my old notes, I’d copy and paste it, but it’d take me all day to look for it.
Okay. The theory. Twins.
Ahh, okay, I’m kinda excited it’s been so long. Okay. So I think what I thought was that it was a pair of fraternal twins. The reason why I said fraternal and identical is in theory if this is two people pretending to be one person...they don’t even look that much alike. They feature one another a lot but it’s not mirror twins which is odd because you’d think if an entertainment company was to pull one over and have a pair of twins play a single person they’d go for a parent trap deal
Theoretically, I thought maybe it was more of a Mary-kay and Ashley type of situation
who are not identical; they are fraternal. They just look extremely alike. How do people tell them apart? Well, now they look different because of different external stimuli that have an affect on appearance, but back when they used to look more alike, just watching their movies year after year it’s quite clear do to vocal tone, mannerisms, and behavior that they are two different people. It simply takes observation.
I have to sadly make a list because it’ll be too unorganized otherwise.
First I’ll put physical characteristics that are definite and most consistent. Meaning you can see the physical traits in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.
Uneven ears:
Baby—toddler
Childhood / adolescence
Adulthood
Now adulthood is very tricky because the adult bone structure set in at around 16-18, and the cheekbone and skull make the ears appear small when really they are probably normal-sized; he just has a big head. So I’m just going to show the ears, both left and right, at an angle because it’s pretty much impossible to see them when he’s staring straight ahead. P.S. I don’t know what’s digitally edited or not, so I prefer candid pics, but it’s not good quality to see the details of the ear, so... it’s so-so. But ear prints, like fingerprints, may be similar for identical twins, but they’re not identical.
To be continued.
A difficult question, because it is very incredible to imagine that Garp would have a very close relationship with someone (well, you get the idea), but the very fact of the existence of the Dragon refutes the option of division (like in cells). So, options for moms… Bogart, yes, (I'm writing all this for fun, relax… or not?))). So, the evidence is based on the fact that Oda draws Garp with a straight nose, and Dragon with a hump, and this is confirmed in the manga (checked several times, since it was a manga and nothing would stop me from thinking that way, why not? WE LITERALLY HAVE THERE IS A CROCO-MOM THEORY. Why can't we have a Bogarde-mother? Maybe it's a family thing). Who else in Garp's circle has a hooked nose? With Bogart, everything, everything fits. Dragon always has a dark and displeased face, like Bogart. Another candidate is Tsuru and Sengoku, but what tells me is that they themselves kicked Garp to hell, and Sengoku actually got married at work and has no time for that🙃 Although the presence of Tsuru’s granddaughter refutes this topic and perhaps she got along with Sengoku. And no one except Bogart is apparently ready to tolerate this asshole (Garp) getting into trouble.
Edenian supremacism probably comes with the Sindel retcon. They were originally allies of Earthrealm and as much victims of Shao Kahn as anyone else - Kitana and Jade were actually freedom fighters for Edenia. Why they're now apparently all soulless pieces of shit (and why the narrative turns against Kitana beginning with Aftermath, seriously listen to how Spawn just dunks on her), I think, has to do with a change in society as a whole.
As more and more previously unheard people speak up and tell their stories, more and more narratives are getting flipped, and rightly so - those we've been told to admire all our lives are turning out to be bigots at best and greedy, power-hungry butchers or heartless religious zealots at worst. Conversely, the people society whose voices society wishes it could silence - BIPOC, LGBTIA+, workers, those with disabilities (ND included), really anyone who's suffered at the hands of the powerful and privileged - are finally starting to be vindicated, to have their complaints validated, and their stories heard.
In other words, our heroes are turning out to be way worse people than our villains ever were, and fiction is starting to reflect this; The Boys would be a textbook example, nobody with superpowers in that franchise is anywhere near heroic, and honestly I'm a little disturbed that anyone would want to play Homelander in MK. The Edenians were presented as the most virtuous in the original universe, so they were the obvious choice to be the rotten bastards in MK11 (not a choice I exactly agree with, or even the Sindel retcon at all, but if I got to make every choice cheese curds would grow on trees, so)
Having made that observation, I still consider having villains more sympathetic than your heroes to be an immense failure on the part of the author. Let's be real, "princess" is part of Kitana's identity, and that implies she's up to her eyeballs in some sort of privilege. The thing is, free will exists, and privilege does not (or should not) hard-lock you into being an asshole. Even Kitana could have chosen integrity and real compassion, to do what's best for the people even when it came at expense to herself, but nope, she chose to play footsie with Kotal's buddies and attack people for not meeting her sky-high standards.
This is not the Kitana Outworld deserves, and this is not the Kitana the MK community deserves.
I'm falling asleep at my laptop rn, so good night and thank you for pointing out that Sonya is trash.
Goodnight.
Not gonna lie, I always saw Sindel as an evil character even with the whole mind control thing. If their own queen was willing to kill her own husband, an Edenian, to have a stronger one (Outworld-ian) then they shouldn't be flabbering about supremacy.
I've been meaning to vent out about Sonya but didn't know when.
"I'm a little disturbed that anyone would want to play Homelander in MK" I thought this was a joke when I first heard it, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually meant it.
When it comes to villainising the heroes I think it's more of a Severus Snape situation, where we the viewers find out there's more to the villains and the heroes. I think NRS figured we were tired of goody two shoes and wanted to see those goody two shoes be more humanised, if humanised means less decent. And then proceeded to butcher some beloved characters, I guess. Harry's been told his parents were good people only to find out they did terrible things. When shown that Mileena just wanted a family we can hold some kind of sympathy for her, even though it doesn't excuse the fact that she's a blood thirsty killer.
One thing to be noted is that there's a lack of consistency when it comes to the games, and not just designs, so when you're talking about "those we've been told to admire all our lives are turning out to be bigots at best and greedy, power-hungry butchers or heartless religious zealots at worst." I think it's the writers changing their minds to fit the mindset of current audiences, acknowledging that it's not just kids playing the games nowadays and it's their way of making things more realistic.
As a Johnny Cage stan, I can very much tell you that there's a lot of things wrong with him, but he's an angel in comparison to the other heroes. (even if he was sexist and mouthy in the past, he is the most relatable) He is a good example when making a flawed character in my opinion, or maybe I'm being too soft on the guy.
I don't think Scorpion was held accountable for screwing everyone over, either. Or killing Bi Han. Poor Bi Han.
Coming from a card-carrying Kitana stan who also thinks Jade is super dope:
You forgot the part where Kabal accuses Jade of torture and we have no reason not to believe him.
Seriously, you are the second person I've seen hold Jade accountable for anything. Kitana deserves every bit of condemnation she gets (and possibly more) for how cruel she can be, but Jade gets off easy because people only see the Super Chill Bestie and not someone with very low regard for Tarkatans and their lives.
Having said that, what /do/ you admire about Jade and Kitana? I'm not sure what would be more dope than "at least somewhat racist" and "despot in training" are crappy. (Personally, I think it's super badass that Kitana defeated Shao Kahn, gained a masculine title, and led armies into battle. And Jade, well, who wouldn't want Jade as their bestie? Other than a Tarkatan, obviously.)
This is a mouthful, I know, but it's been driving me nuts and I'd be remiss not to address the seamy side of my favorite dynamic duo.
P.S. God tier username. Britney Spears and the Spice Girls were my jam as a kid, and I'm glad to see someone else remembers them. My sister and I had the Scary Spice doll with the tongue piercing lol
Thank you for the compliments on my user name, I listened to them a lot growing up.
When writing the headcanons I had to try my best to not be distracted by the fact that I'm a Mileena stan, and even then I will hold Mileena accountable, so Kitana and Jade do not get a free pass.
There's many occasions where they've shown that they are pretty terrible, and even though they are cool characters, they are unlikable people. Golly, I'd even say that they are hypocrites. They call everyone else out for their ego when they themselves are egotistical. To be fair, it's not just them that have a holier than thou attitude, but quick reminder that Sonya beat them both one on two in MK9 and they both continued showing hostility towards Earthrealmers and a sense of underestimating others.
Kitana is more Outworld than she is Edenian regardless of blood, and if she grew up thinking her father to be Shao Kahn then how did she even know she was Edenian? How did Jade know?
Edenian supremacy is just wild because their realm got conquered and are living in servitude to Shao Kahn or any big bad that comes along. Jade's parents literally gave her away for their own skin.
I pictured the alliance Kitana had with the Tarkatans not going well because she clearly still holds some discriminating views against them. It doesn't help that the Tarkatans are only shown to be servants meaning they (Kitana and Jade) grew up with the mentality of looking down on them.
The only thing I admire about Jade and Kitana is that they are fun to play as and have nice wardrobes, but that's it. I'm supposed to be rooting for her, yet she has a poor attitude. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the good guys have flaws that I can't look over. It's hinted that Sonya abused Cassie by randomly attacking her and Jacqui with arm bars (what the...), and she also looks down on people who don't have similar interests as her (from what I've interpreted). She's also terrible at parenting. I also headcanon that Cassie joined the special forces in order to impress Sonya, not because she actually wanted to.
I could say a lot about the characters, not just Kitana and Jade. And don't get me started on Kotal Kahn, he is such a clown. He and Jade deserve each other, honestly.
Wilding out Celia theory:
- There's two Celias
- One from this universe, one from TMA
- They share a body
- When Celia wakes up after sleepwalking, that's the Celia of TMAGP
- When Celia's at the OIAR, that's the Celia of TMA
- one of them"s a baddie
*tinfoil noises*
- TMA Celia has become an avatar of the stranger
