You got out of the shower to see the door to yours and Izzy shared bedroom closed. You thought maybe Izzy shut it and was sitting in the living room but when you walked out there he wasn’t sitting there. Huh you thought guess he must just want to be alone in your guys room. You decided to knock on the door and check on him. “You ok iz?” you said knocking on the door. “Yeah I’m fine” he answered back you could here his guitar playing softly too. “Ok just checking”. You said walking away from the room. It was odd of Izzy to not want to be with you on his days off especially since the band was in the middle of recording there first album which meant lonnggg nights in the studio. Is he mad at me? Is he sick of me? All these bad thoughts started to come to your brain. But before they got too bad you decided Izzy was just probably practicing some songs and you should just watch some tv. After about 3 hours of watching tv you were bored out of your mind and Izzy never practiced songs this long at home. You got up and this time you were gonna see what he was up to. You knocked on the door and then just walked in because after all this was your room too. A startled izzy looked up at you and started fumbling around “Y/n what are you doing I’m busy right now” Izzy said quickly closing a notebook he had and setting down his guitar. “I just came to see what your up too I’m bored” you said sitting down on the bed. “That’s cool but I’m doing something right now sweetie” Izzy said not looking at you and just tuning his guitar. Something was up you knew it he didn’t want you in there. “Are you writing a song I could help I helped you write Mr. Brownstone remember” you said smiling. “No i don’t need any help right now babe just go do something else ok” Izzy said sternly to you. Now you were hurt Izzy always loved to hear what you thought of songs he was writing. “Ok” you said trying to hide the sadness in your voice. You turned and left the room shutting the door behind you. You sat back down on the couch. Did he cheat on me? Does he not love me anymore? Is he really just trying to break up with me? Your thoughts consumed you. You started tearing up. And then before you knew it you were in a ball on the couch sobbing. A few mins later you heard your bedroom door creak open. Shit you didn’t want Izzy to see you were upset so you started to quickly wipe away your tears. “Oh my gosh baby are you ok?” Izzy said running up and sitting by you on the couch. “Y-yeah I’m fine Izzy I’m f-fine.” You said you tried to hide your trembling voice but it didn’t really work. “Your crying Izzy said wiping a tear away from your cheek. “No I’m not” you said trying to calm yourself. “Yes you are your mascara is running and your trembling come here babe tell me what’s wrong” Izzy said opening his arms to hold you. You went right in to them having him now holding you and resting his chin on the top of your head. You decided to tell him what happened. “I-I was crying because of you” you said. Izzy didn’t say anything so you continued talking. “You didn’t talk to me all morning then our door was shut and you know I overthink and so all my bad thoughts came in Iz thoughts like that you hate me and lost feelings and want to break up” you said now really sobbing. “You thought I was mad?” Izzy said sounding sad. “Y-yeah” you said sniffling. “I’m so sorry beautiful I really am I’m so fuckin sorry I didn’t mean to make you feel like that I don’t hate you y/n I was ignoring you because…” Izzy paused. “Fuck it let me just show you.” Izzy said getting up and waking to your room. He came back with his guitar and note book. He sat down on the floor in front of you. “It was supposed to be a surprise on the new record for you but I think you need to hear it now” you were slightly confused and now had stopped crying and listened to Izzy who had now started strumming his guitar and then began singing…

Izzy sang it to you right from the heart. And now you cried more but this time tears of joy. You were so dumb how could you think Izzy didn’t love you. Izzy set his guitar aside and now got up to sit by you again. He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. “I’m sorry I made upset baby I should’ve remembered that you overthink sometimes it’s ok though baby I just wanted to make my song about you a surprise” Izzy said smiling and kissing you on the cheek. “There’s more lyrics about you for the song in my notebook if you want to look that’s why I was hiding it from you” Izzy said now blushing and fidgeting with his fingers. You got quiet for a few minutes trying to soak it all in. “I love you so much Izzy” you said grabbing his hand and holding it. “I love you too baby.” Izzy said kissing the top of your head. “Did you like the song?” Izzy asked. “I loved it Izzy” you said smiling at him. Izzy chuckled he was grinning ear to ear and blushing. “Good because I meant every word.” Izzy said in your ear.

You and Slash laid on the floor of the tiny apartment belly laughing and guzzling down bottles of Jack. Duff sat on the couch and Steven was busy dancing to “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith that was blaring from the radio. Izzy was sitting there too just watching everyone and Axl had gone to his room a long time ago he said he needed rest for the show tomorrow night. You weren’t really sure what time it was but it was definitely late. You didn’t care though you were having to much fun hanging out with Slash. Slash had been your best friend since you moved to LA. It was like an instant connection. You were best friends but deep down you were in love with him but to scared to admit it to him. The radio was now super loud and Steven was trying to snake dance like Axl but failing miserably which made it even funnier you Slash were cackling on the floor now. Suddenly an angry Axl stormed out of his room “GODDAMNIT CAN YOU KEEP IT DOWN I NEED TO REST FOR TOMORROW” Axl yelled. “Sorry ax we know you need your beauty sleep” Slash sarcastically said and then started giggling. “Yeah sorry princess” you answered back. You and Slash were now super close to each other dying laughing. Axl didn’t think you guys were as funny and flipped you off and walked down the hallway and slammed the door to his room. “I Remember You” by Skid Row was now playing on the radio “Yo turn it up I love this one” Duff said. “No way man way to mushy for me” Slash said back. “Come on Slash don’t act like you’ve never been in love before” Duff retorted back. This conversation made you very nervous because you loved Slash, he just didn’t know it. “What about you y/n you ever been in love?” Duff asked you casually taking a sip of vodka. “I- um” you hesitated and looked at Slash who’s beautiful brown eyes were staring right you. “ I don’t know Duff that’s a really deep question for this late” you said laughing it off. It got quiet for a few mins. Izzy had got up to go to bed and Steven was now sitting on the couch. “ I don’t know man I used to think Steven’s mom was fine though” Slash said. Duff and you both burst laughing. “The fuck did you just say Slash” Steven said standing up and pretending to kick Slash in the balls. “What man she was” Slash said laughing even harder now. “Your the worst” Steven said even laughing a little too now. A few mins later Steven was passed out on the bed and Duff had left to go to his room for the night. And so here you were just you and Slash on the floor of a crummy apartment staring up at the ceiling. “Can I ask you something?” Slash said. “Of course dude what’s up” you said. “Have you ever had feelings for a friend?” Slash asked. Welp you were screwed now was a good as time as any to tell him. But before you could speak Slash started talking again. “That was stupid to say but anyway I have been in love before” Slash said “Oh yeah with who?” You said trying to brace yourself. “With you” Slash said.

“No way Slash I am not going on some date with some random ass chick that your girlfriend is best friends with” Axl spat. It wasn’t like Axl rose to turn down a date with a girl but he didn’t like the idea of Slash and his new girlfriend trying to set him up on one he preferred to find chicks at parties or backstage or at bars. “Axl come on man she’s super sweet and funny (y/bff/n) thinks you two will really like each other” “Yeah well I really don’t give a shit man the idea of a blind date is stupid high school type bull shit ok man” Axl said glaring at Slash. Slash rolled his eyes at Axl he knew Axl could be dramatic but he didn’t expect him to protest this much. “Give her a chance ax she’s a real sweetheart and I want to make (y/bff/n) happy so just can you do this for me man” Axl stood there silently protesting. “Look man if you don’t like her I’ll take you to the whiskey a go-go tomorrow and all the drinks will be on me, but at least just come tonight.” Slash pleaded. Axl waited a few seconds and then sighed “ Fine Slash but you better be prepared because I’m buying all the most expensive drinks on the menu tomorrow” Axl said smirking and turning down the hall to get dressed for the date.

“Come on y/n he’s exactly your type I promise you’ll like him” your bff said trying to convince into coming on a double date with her boyfriend and his band mate. “No, y/bff/n I don’t want to go I know he’ll just be another ass hole with a huge ego like every other guy here in LA” you said crossing your arms and flopping on the couch. It was a Saturday night and all you wanted to do was lay around and watch tv you had enough of boys and people for the week but your best friend was set on the idea that you needed to go on this stupid date with some guy her boyfriend was friends with. “No y/n he’s super fun and he’s a great singer and you’ll really like him I promise” your bff said attempting to get you off the couch. You knew of Axl you hadn’t met him but you had see his music video for Welcome to the Jungle pop up on the MTV and you had to admit he was a very attractive man and talented and sure a date with him would be fun but there’s just no way this new rocker guy would like you so what was the point in going. “There’s no way he’s going to like me why should I go?” You said questioning your best friend. “You don’t know that y/n just give him a chance ok, besides if you never try a date with him how do you know he won’t like you.” Your best friend said crossing her arms and looking down on you. Shit you thought she made a good point. “Fineeeee” you said getting off the couch reluctantly. “Yay!! Let’s go get ready come on y/n it’ll be so fun I promise” your best friend said
……… (time skip to arriving at the date)
You guys got to the Rainbow which was where the date was planned at around 8 and shortly after Slash showed up on time but there was no sign of Axl. “ Slash babe where the hell is he I thought you guys were coming together?”your best friend asked Slash. “He was taking to long to get ready he told me he’d catch a cab and be here just a few mins after me he’ll come though I promise” Slash said. Yeah right you thought great you got stood up and now you had to spend the whole night just watching your bff and her boyfriend make out how fun you thought. It was now 8:30 and your really thought there’s no way this man would show up but the door swung open around 8:33 and sure enough there he was. Shit you thought he was handsome actually I don’t know if you could call him that he was honestly beautiful his long strawberry blond hair fell perfectly on him he was wearing a white t shirt with a red blazer jacket over it and he’s green eyes somehow immediately pierced you.
Axls POV:
I was late like really late for a date I felt sorta bad but I’ve never been known for being on time so it was not really new to me. Where the fuck is Slash I thought scanning the crowd then I saw her she was wearing a tight black dress had the most beautiful loosely curled hair and her eyes somehow immediately met mine. She was also sitting by slash and his girlfriend so that better be the girl I’m supposed to be meeting.

Axl walked up to your table and sat right by you “Bout time you showed up ass hole” Slash said to Axl. “Just be happy I came ok man” Axl said smirking at slash. You giggled Axl was quick was his words that was something you learned very fast. “So what’s it like being a big shot rockstar” you choked out you were so nervous and didn’t know what to say. “It’s weird” Axl said looking down at the table “ I love it though I love making music and it’s always been a big part of who i am” Axl said looking up to smile at you. You blushed at his smile. You and Axl continued to talk and there was something abt him he wasn’t just some hot headed rockstar he was made out to be there was more to him he was sensitive and a great conversationalist.
Axls POV:
I’ve met a lot of chicks but never one like Y/n something was different about her she made me feel important I could tell she was really listening to me and she was so easy to talk and it also helped she was remarkably beautiful.

Slash and your bff stood up “um we’re gonna need to use the bathroom we’ll be back” you knew something was going on based on the bulge in slashes pants but you were to focused on Axl to really care. “Ok, Use protection buddy” Axl yelled as they were leaving the table. Slash flipped him off as they walked away and Axl laughed, then he stared at you, you looked right at him and blushed as he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear and whispered . “Wanna step outside?” Axl asked. “Sure” you said as Axl grabbed your hand and lead you outside. You stood there on the side walk out side and watched people go by for a few mins before Axl said something that caught you off guard. “ Shit i don’t know how to say this I really don’t” oh no you thought he hates me I should have seen this coming. “But I really like you like actually like you y/n and I want to try this but i can be messed up sometimes and I can lose my shit but something abt you is different y/n you make me feel loved and safe and I want to be with you” Axl said. You couldn’t believe your ears Axl rose liked you it didn’t seem real. “Axl I want to be with you too” you said… and with that Axl kissed you.

Slash:
Slash will notice your asleep and not really care he will still move around some and when he does you wake up a little bit or move and then when you do he freezes and hopes you won’t really wake up
Duff:
Duff is so sweet he’ll see your asleep and make sure to not move to much he’ll even stroke your hair a little and he’ll talk softly so you won’t wake up and you actually get some sleep
Izzy:
This man doesn’t move an inch he becomes a statue
Steven:
He doesn’t mind that your asleep on him but he’ll forget your laying on him so he’ll stand up to grab another drink or smth which will wake you up and he’ll feel bad
