My favorite one is, “come on Star Wars be original,” as if putting a man in the lead would be cutting edge stuff. Anyway…
reminiscing and thinking about how one of the reasons rogue one fucks so hard for me is bc the force is. like. just barely implied. to be there. jyn takes out her kyber necklace and prays for the imperials to let them pass. was that the force? was that just a happy coincidence? chirrut walks across a battlefield unscathed to reach the master switch. was that the force? just dumb luck? the rebels manage to escape vader by the absolute skin of their teeth. the force? sheer panic and willpower? like, hell yes. the force is in all living creatures, but how much of what happens in star wars is The Force, and how much of it is singular actions and sentient self-determination
Inktober Day 24 - “I wish I could see you.” “You could always see me.” the prompt was ‘blind’ so I decided to two the two blind bad-asses of the Star Wars universe and their equally Badass boos.
Who wants to have a Star Wars marathon with me?
And I'm not talking just the movies
Not just the live action
Not just the ones we like
I mean a marathon, all of the movies, TV shows, live action and animated, all of it.
That means the Prequels, The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, Solo, Kenobi, Andor, the Originals, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Resistance, and the Sequels. Yes even Visions and Tales of the Jedi. And I have nothing against watching all of the shorts Blips, Forces of Destiny, and Grogu and Dust Bunnies. And yes, before you start to get comfortable even the "vintage" Star Wars Clone Wars, Ewoks, The Battle for Endor, The Faithful Wookie, Caravan of Courage, Droids. Holiday Specials! And to top it all off, we'll watch the Lego Star Wars 😈
Hope? Yeah. Rebellions are built on hope.

its been nearly 2 years but I'm still not over Rogue One being that bitch™️
Come on. Kickass female lead, Mexican lead who wasn’t a drug dealer, Middle Eastern man who wasn’t a terrorist, two Asian warriors and one was blind and a snarky British robot.
And their race or gender wasn’t made fun of in any way in the movie or used as a plot point
And the evil guys? white dudes with high egos in positions of power and have sticks up their asses
And all this was done in a big budget movie in one of the biggest franchises in film history
It has fully wormed itself into my noggin
