🌱 sprout 🌱 This one is from the second round of screen prints which went much better☺️ I'm so happy with how she turned out💚 I'll work on getting the seconds prints listed on Etsy for those interested and post any updates on Instagram stories ✨ .
intaglio print from print making class, the prompt was “what once was,” and that was around the time they discovered that super well preserved dinosaur fetus in Yingliang China, in which the fetus was curled in the exact way a modern chicken curls in its eggs, and there was something really magical about that discovery I wanted to make this biblical parallel, in which the dinosaurs of the shepards were depictions of saurischian dinosaurs, a lineage that went extinct, while depictions of divine figures were ornithischian dinosaurs, the lineage that survive today as modern birds
❤️are they in love? or are they just really good friends🤡 More digital collage shenanigans .
Classes starting today and the first project is making stencils for screen printing ✨ Im very excited about this project ☺️ . .
Behold! The final print ✨

The design for the larger linocut I’ll be working on✨ my hands are going to be so tired 😬 I'm also going to try mixing inks to make the blue areas a pretty green! We will see how it goes 😌

Fun in the flowers 😊🌼
Linoleum print all inked up and pretty✨
I might thicken the lines a bit more and see if I can get some more clean prints, but I love how this came out 🥰
Another lino carving concept 😊 I like this one now too… one more maybe?
Planning for a lino cutting! I might do some practice mushroom stamps soon :) I’m so excited for print making✨

November 2 - Stamping Posters
November 2/3 - Cards
Linocutter on linoleum, Ink on paper
Stamps I made during a stamp/printmaking event at makerspace.
We needed stamps for the AAM stamp rally, and this event was hosted at the perfect time for me to make mine for the rally.
Everyone got a ~2x2" piece of linoblock to carve, but the cards for the stamp rally had slots that were ~XxX", so I cut the linoblock into pieces.
I carved a little flower to fit my flower/cyclamen motif ❤️ and then I decided to make a little business card stamp
I printed with their actual fancy printmaking ink at the event to check that the carves were deep enough, but all the stuff afterwards was done with ink pads from michael's (they're honestly a lot easier to use, too)
My dumb ass never took good pictures of the actual stamps I made before moving 170km from them. I'll add pics once I visit home.

Inspired by John dies at the end. What David Wong, resident non-chinese protagonist, saw in the window of a Mcwongalds on a normal Tuesday morning.
Gr12 assignment where we could either choose this or a still life/realistic pencil drawing of a 'terrible beauty.' We got to choose between these two because there's just not enough time to do all of these assignments in a semester, and we've done still lives all 3 previous years. All the people who chose still life are cucks.
I don't have the linoblock anymore 😭😭. I forgot to steal it when I took all my artworks home and when I sent my friend to get it for me the next year they didn't have it ??!??!?!?! It must be in that art room somewhere rahh
Lining up the prints was soo hard. Especially for the last layer because there was so little material left on the block that it would really easily shift around. I was smart by picking this subject, though. Any extra red smears just add to the blood, and whenever they don't line up it just makes it more distorted and fucked up 💀😏
Paint on fancy paper
~September/October 2021
Gr11 assignment that was a bit of a disaster. Cutting the shapes out of the vinyl was ez, but I remember the printing itself was a disaster.
Kinda doesn't work but that's aight. Meant to be the printmaking where you scrape ink onto a shirt or smth and there's the fabric thingy in between.
I tried printing it on my sketchbook before but it didnt work cos the ink was made for fabric. Did it now w acrylic, but it bled a lot. Could do the strat where u paint in base colour first nd then the wanted colour, probably.
Art from this semester! I got to do a really fun project with my printmaking professor: I made a digital design (very right), had it laser cut/printed onto some plywood (center), and got to print it out onto paper (very left)!
The big mushroom in the center is based on a Fly Agaric mushroom (think the traditional mushroom with a red cap and white spots).

Ocean Beach Wave. Oil on linen. 20 x 14 inches. . . Most paintings take months or weeks to finish. Some get put away and discovered again. And then there are the very few that only take days, which is this case. All week, I was imagining a wave above a house. I wasn’t exactly sure how it will come out, but this is the result with little preparation and only just that idea. . . . . . #art #painting #illustration #printmaking #abstractart #oilpainting #arte #artistsoninstagram #artofinstagram #landscapepainting #surf #sanfrancisco #artoftheday #artcurator #sunset https://www.instagram.com/p/CPt4QXSnm-w/?utm_medium=tumblr
