If I had a penny for every time I’ve been in a fandom where a main character was a cannibal with deer motifs, I’d have two pennies. Which isn’t alot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
Doodle as usual, also as some kinds of recovering ❤️🩹.
Even it’s politically wrong(?, I’d insist my fantastic beasts au.🤪😚😚
I tried to get away from love
I took a sharp razor and fix myself
I took refuge in the basement
I cut the leather straps that tightened my weak chest
I want to be with you
I mean...
Yes
i just had a dream that i was the adopted son of those fucking guys in hannibal and ive never watched any of the show but basically i was stuck in the back seat of the van because we were moving again because according to the one that looks eternally tired (will?) ‘apparently dad doesnt know when the proper time to kill someone is’ and i watched them bicker like divorced parents and I go ‘what the hell is it you guys do for work again’ and the car went dead silent before the cannibal guy goes ‘eat your subway flynn’
what is this show about. why did i dream this what does it mean. do I have to watch the show now. It is 5:45 am.
Hannibal Season 4 and Goncharov 2 have the same release date!! Get ready for Gonchibal!!
4 years of German led me to this moment.
Hannibal Lecker
That is all.
I love this journey for me 🙏🏼
I'll probably be equally sweaty in both modes
Flew from Ohio to Seattle for ECCC and to visit some iconic Twin Peaks locations. Had such a smashing time! Mads and Hugh are always incredible to listen to, meet, & interact with. Plus, MEATing the Fannibal Family!
"It's never too late to become unhealthily obsessed with a niche television show that went off the air years ago."
(I searched high & low for the author of this original comic format and could only find reposts. I can only hope I made them proud. If you know who they are, let me know so I can credit them.)
Would you believe I got to go on tour this weekend to these exotic Hannibal locations with Hugh & Mads?
Manifesting how my weekend is going to go
Imagine flirting so hard with a neurologist that he lies about a diagnosis for you
I’m finally watching the cannibal show and it’s fucking hilarious how utterly petty Hannibal is. Like a real interaction that happens in the show is basically this
Doctor: hey can you just like tell me your medical status, it’s for your insurance
Hannibal: I’m going to cut you in half
Was trying to figure out why I found the frontman in squid game so endearing and then it hit me
Showing up to the audition to play the biggest liar ever and very obviously lying is so incredibly funny that I would honestly hire him for it
Hannibal/Breaking Bad crossover 2025
This review is an honest and subjective review that contains minor minor spoilers and personal opinions, so be aware - God I loved the new logo of the Marvel studios and how it presented the heroes!! I was internally screaming - I'm a great bbc Sherlock fan but it's my first time to actually see Benedict on big screen, and he's long face was shown beautifully on big screen - He's portrayal of Doctor Strange was FANTASTIC! Well, some part reminded me of American Sherlock but Strange's original character in the comics is like that so, what can I say? - I think this movie also encouraged and gave hope to disabled people that there is a second life beyond their disability, to overcome and be a greater one - Rachel McAdams you beautiful women, not only beautiful but I also found her character, Christine Palmer really adequate, non - sexualised, strong female love interest in the hero movie. Very suitable. She was so pure and precious - As an ethnic minority, I actually liked Tilda's Ancient one. I think she acually added more mysterious vibe to the character rather than stereotypical 'old Asian man, the master of the protagonist' And I loved how they sarcastically tricked the audience in the first part of the movie with Master Hamir - CLOAK OF LEVITATION I WANT ONE. I mean, it's the most powerful character in the movie lol - THE HUMOR - I suspected Mordo the entire time since I knew that he was originally a villain in the comics. I'm glad that it was portrayed by one of my favourite actor - Wong, my new favorite sidekick since Falcon - I loved the make up of Kaecillius, but I feel like Marvel could have done better with this villain - Dormmamu, I've come to watch a movie - I was in utter shock for like, 2 sec when Mordo mentioned the Living Tribunal. Wtf? - It felt like this movie opened such a big potential to phase 4, with the multiverse. It was also very refreshing like Antman, with a new introduction of a hero, but kinda sad that Marvel is preparing for change in generation - THE VISUALS!! WTF I haven't watched it in 3D but if you do, prepare for possible nausea - The mid credit scene!!! Gahgh I missed you!! My favourite fluffy cinnamon roll! - It was actually nice to finally see a proper Asian culture based superhero movie For me, it was a 9/10 movie, with dealing with a story that might have been quite commonly used as a superhero origin, but transforming it mystically, not giving us the feeling that it is messy. I think it really opened up the future of Marvel in a bigger scale. Everything were incredibly well balanced, organised yet.. STRANGE
I love this so fucking much
I Love Everything about this
Sometimes I watch the show and try to think of Hannibal’s perspective and it’s a total trip. Like. Imagine you’ve been able to control and pick and choose your emotions and reactions your whole life, due to being somehow psychopath-adjacent. And the only time you couldn’t was when you were little with your baby sister, and it’s probable that as your brain matured, the possibility of feeling and forming connections like that dried up entirely. You read the psychiatric journals, and occasionally there’s something about a man who can connect with others so deeply he can become an echo of them. And then you meet this man, and he mocks your comment about eye contact while holding yours.
An understanding passes between both of you that you have hidden depths. Instead of killing him, you bring him breakfast, and make him dinner, and serve him drinks. Instead of being able to toy with his mind without a care, you think of him and your chest clenches, and your gut swoops, and his face and voice and his rude little barbs invade your mind like glittering parasites that you can’t remove. These feelings are alien, and they’re also yours. You know, deep down, why you’re letting him live, why you stare after him, why you toe the line of risking it all for him. But you don’t want to face it. It’s terrifying, this horizon of who you are and can be that looms before you with no choice of your own.
Framing him presents a convenient opportunity for ridding yourself of this thing he brings on in you, this total lack of control, this fever-dream surrender that breaches the walls of your mind and the tics and tells of your body so effortlessly— but you miss him. You don’t miss anyone, and the one person you do is more of an imago that never was able to grow into her own real person. But the you you’ve helplessly become certainly does. You’ve become an addict. You cannot let him rot when his presence gave your monochrome world color, you can’t quit the drug you’ve always shunned. This is all a devil’s bargain, certainly, but you’ve already damned yourself, and all that’s left to do is plunge further. Oh and by the way. The infuriating man in question looks like this:
Like okay then, good luck not having the crashout of the century 😭
It is so great to see we are all moving into 2025 totally sane and stable, no longer obsessed and deranged, truly off to new shores, where cannibalism becomes cannibalism again, where -
This
so this has probably already been talked about in great detail since the end of the show (hannibal) but I just did a rewatch and I can't shut up about it. the incredible level of subtle details in this show is already insane but I noticed it much clearer in my rewatch during season 3 part two how quickly we see Will change.
during *The Great Red Dragon*, Will is back to mostly his pre-Hannibal self. We see him married with a family out in the country with his dogs and more specifically his clothes (I am going to be very specific about what he wears in this because it's these details that are so subtle but make his change so much more crispy). He's wearing very practical, warm weather clothes, looks like an outdoorsman.
like, reminder that this ↓
is how he shows up to meet Hannibal again for the first time in years. Glasses, coat, clearly clothes he would not think twice about wearing anywhere, kind of like how he dresses in season one. It's also in his expression and his stature (which bless Hugh Dancy for his portrayal of Will because I don't know who else could have done the subtle changes so eloquently)
now let me take you to the episode directly after (And the Woman Clothed with the Sun) he first sees Hannibal and has to come back to talk to him
i'm sorry??? Immediately with the crisp button down, tucked in, with the top buttons undone, hair slicked back, NO GLASSES and look. Look at how he stands and his expression and how comfortable he is, hands in pockets.
okay further evidence. And honestly arguably the scariest piece
it's the dead-eyed stare for me. We all know what happened to Chilton after this, and it's the fact that he knew what he was doing. God, Will was never more like Hannibal than he was at the end of season three. Clothes are not much different on purpose because he's playing the game now.
Sidebar that in almost all the scenes that he's bitchily talking to Bedelia, he's also very well dressed as if he's taking Hannibal's place in his manipulation of her.
By the time we see him in The Wrath of the Lamb, he has already decided that he wants Hannibal back. Vaguely suggesting to Jack to use Hannibal as bait for the Dragon, as if he didn't very well consider all the outcomes would likely lead to Hannibal escaping. The way they're looking conspiratorially at each other in the back of the van. How Will isn't even remotely surprised he walks out unscathed or how he doesn't question letting him drive them to wherever they're going to meet the dragon.
And once they get to the cliffside house, and they get settled and Will?
His shirt is tight, his expression is the SAME as the one Hannibal had in episode ONE season ONE, as he watches Hannibal BLEED OUT and wonders probably what they will do.
There are plenty of ways everyone that worked on this show displayed how Will was changing but I loved how they used his clothes to do it and how Hugh used his expressions to differentiate pre-Hannibal and post-Hannibal Will.
I could write a dissertation on this show it's insane and I will never shut up about my murderous gay husbands.
Did something happen or is our obsession just synching up again?
Anyone else going feral over the fact that he didn‘t start showing off his forehead until AFTER Hannibal tried to saw him open and gave him that scar? No?
