Agere: Remus (age:5) CG!: Roman
Remus is an Age regressor and Roman is the only one who knows but when remus is little and ends up shrinking down to size and roman is not in his room the little gets upset and starts to cry and the others find him trying to figure out what's wrong and how he's small as the others try to calm him down in different ways and they find out he wants roman, janus ends up disguising himself as roman as another side distract him but he sees right through janus and knows it not the real roman and gets upset and starts to cry again and throwing things at janus then roman shows up and remus clinging to him, as roman calms him down and remus is happy then roman explain everything to the others
Roman and Remus tended to argue and fight but they were always there to keep each other's secrets.

Remus was little and the only one that knew about it was Roman. In fact as far as he knew Roman was the only one that even knew what Age regression was. So When Roman was busy and Remus couldn’t find him after he dropped he went looking for him only to run into everyone except Roman.
“HI Kiddo who….Remus?” Patton asked as he leaned down seeing as Remus liked to shapeshift to his mental age. It made him feel better. Normally. This time everything was too big and scary.
Remus looked at all of them terrorfied but stubbornly refused to run away. He needed to finish his quest and find his Roro. “Where Roro?” He demanded.
“You mean….Roman?” Virgil asked. Logan tried and failed to pick Remus up.
“Hahuh.” Remus said avoiding Logan and Patton. He Almost went to Janus.
Almost.
“Did you check his room?” Janus asked confused as to why his best friend was so small, childish, and why he was looking for his brother while in that state.
Remus nodded tearing up he sniffed and wiped at his eyes making everyone panic.
“Ok! We can find him.” Patton said scooping up Remus while Janus shifted to look like him. “I think...there he is!” Patton said as Remus squirmed unhappy in his grip. He beamed at the fake Roman and reached for him.
Janus took Remus and just from the way he held him Remus knew it wasn’t Roman. He teared up more and glared at Fake Roman and smacked his face. “No! Not real Roro!” He squirmed out of Janus’ arms as the illusion faded, Remus started throwing everything he could grab at them every time they tried to reach for him.
“NO NO NO! Want the REAL RORO!” Remus yelled before being swept up into Roman’s arms from behind.
“What do we say about throwing and yelling?” Roman asked calming while on the inside panicking. The others saw him little, Remus got so upset, he didn’t mean to be gone that long…
Remus sniffed and hid his face in Roman’s neck, hugging him tightly. “Couldn’t find you.”
Roman felt his heart ache at the fear in the little’s voice. “I’m sorry squish. I was working on something. I’ll show you later. In the meantime, do you want to tell me what happened?” Roman asked gently knowing that the others eyes were on him but he would deal with that in a minute.
“Got mall.” Remus muttered.
“Yeah.” Roman said as he swayed a little, soothing Remus’ cries.
“An you no where.” Remus said causing Roman to wince. “Then they lie to me. Look like you.” Roman looked at Janus who shifted uneasy under his gaze.
“He wanted you and we didn’t know where you were.” Janus said.
Fair enough.
“So you decided to throw a temper tantrum?” Roman sighed.
Remus tensed. “I in trouble?”
“No..You aren’t in trouble this time squish. I shouldn’t have left for so long.” Roman said rubbing Remus’ back and pressing a kiss to the top of his head.
Remus hummed and clung to Roman tighter. Roman smiled lightly before Turning his attention to the others.
Time to face the music.

They all watched as Remus played in the kid swim park that Roman built for him. Why he was gone so long. Remus was running through the water giggling madly as he got soaked. He tackled Roman soaking him as well before running off again.
Logan offered him a towel. Roman shook his head, “He’ll be back in a minute anyways.”
“This really does help him.” Patton said watching the little jump in a puddle.
“I’m glad he had you to go to.” Janus said, a little unhappy that Remus didn’t trust him with this secret before. Roman picked up on that.
“You were his second choice.” Roman said. Janus smiled and nodded.
Roman turned just in time to get tackled again but a wet child. “SQUISH!”
Roman hugged him tightly. “Squish.” He ruffled Remus’ knotted up hair, making a mental note to use extra conditioner later. “You found the squid arms yet?”
“There are SQUID ARMS?” Remus bolted off and Roman laughed lightly.
Sometimes secrets could be shared.
Obligatory Oscar Predictions (now with gratuitous gifs!)
I’ll be belatedly posting my reviews of various movies including a top ten list over the next few weeks, but if I’m going to turn this into a consistent (mostly) movie review blog, I may as well start with the obvious.
BEST PICTURE
There are about a half-dozen that seem to be locks at this point -- Three Billboards, The Shape of Water, Dunkirk, The Post, Lady Bird, and Get Out. (if one is missing tomorrow morning, expect it to be the last, but I doubt it)
First off, let’s pour one out for 2017, a year so bizarre and awesome that a fantasy about a mute woman having an affair with a fish-monster and a horror-comedy are front-runners. That’s like if the 1987 Best Picture nominees had been The Last Emperor, Hope and Glory, Broadcast News, Evil Dead II, and The Witches of Eastwick.
The remaining 3 or 4 slots are where it gets trickier.
Now, the Academy obviously isn’t cool enough to go for Wonder Woman, Logan, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and The Last Jedi. That said, if they do go for one of the critically beloved blockbusters, I’d bank on the first one, with Logan being an extremely dark horse.
The remaining probable options are: Call Me By Your Name, I Tonya, The Darkest Hour, The Big Sick, Mudbound and Molly’s Game. All should get screenplay nominations and at least one acting nod; the question is just which of them are going to carry over to the big prize.
The Big Sick mostly has the problem that there’s already three comedy slots taken between Three Billboards, Lady Bird, and Get Out; they don’t typically go for one comedy, let alone a whole slate. Still, it was widely embraced enough that it certainly will have some momentum.
Call Me By Your Name is a good bet simply on the cynical account of being the serious gay romance of the year. I suspect its support will be better than for The Danish Girl but not as strong as Moonlight simply on account of it being much better than the former but not as great as the latter; that said, it’s lovingly crafted enough to push over the line, I suspect.
I, Tonya is probably a lock for Actress, and seems like the sort of film to get an extra boost on the power of that incredible lead performance; it helps that it’s a really good film that scores very strongly on feminist scales in a year where that’s going to be the groundswell in the Academy.
The Darkest Hour is trickier to guess; similarly, it’s a film built around one astounding performance, but isn’t nearly as strong as I, Tonya outside of Oldman Oldmaning the hell out of his best role in years.
Molly’s Game falls in the same category; Chastain is sensational, and I’m surprised Idris Elba doesn’t have more buzz and Costner doesn’t have any, but the movie itself is good, not great. Aaron Sorkin truly has a way with words, but as director, he’s a little too in love with his words, and too often doesn’t trust his visual telling of the story to carry it when he can dilute the impact with a 500 word speech explaining the images.
Finally, Mudbound has the severe disadvantage of Netflix’s hostility toward theaters and the traditional film business, which I suspect keeps them from really effectively campaigning. Although it’ll probably get noticed somewhere, the big prize will likely elude it.

The picture pool largely shows who’s in line, with the bottom three films unlikely to show up here. McDonough and Del Toro are locks, and Greta Gerwig probably is, as well. Christopher Nolan seems like he should be a lock, but you would have thought so for The Dark Knight and Inception, too; has the director’s branch has gotten over whatever their Nolan-hate? Conversely, Spielberg would normally seem to be a lock, but he has so many nominations over the years that he might seem too obvious a choice; would they be voting because he did such a great job, or just because he’s frickin’ Spielberg? (in this case, definitely the former; his work in The Post is masterful) Then there’s the question of whether Jordan Peele has even more momentum than he seems to have, and if Luca Guadagnino manages a spoiler. Peele and Nolan getting DGA nods suggests they have the strongest support among the directors; I’ll chose them, but won’t be shocked to see wither Spielberg or Gaudagnino on there. (call Patty Jenkins the one-in-a-million longshot)

OTHER VARIOUS NOTES
Murder on the Orient Express was one of my favorite films this year, but it seems to have been largely forgotten by the various awards communities. Still, it should at least get nominations for Costume Design and Production Design, and just possibly Cinematography. Tragically, there is no category for “Best Mustache”, a category this film would not only win but fill all the nominations.
The Shape of Water, apparently, is not even being considered for best makeup for reasons that I can’t possibly fathom. It will be one of the films that really cleans up in the tech categories, though.
Star Wars, Wonder Woman, Beauty and the Beast, and Dunkirk will dominate the technical awards. War For the Planet of the Apes, the best in the series since the original in ‘68 and one of the highlights of the year, will be ghettoed into just Visual Effects.

just a thing that came to mind, but i always thought that virgil and patton were 100% the fan favorites, and i see people who like virgil all the time, but i’m surprised at the amount of people i see on the tl who prefer logan and janus over patton (and sometimes even people who highly dislike patton).
maybe it’s just the people that i follow or the ts fandom on tumblr in general, but it’s something that i find interesting. i’m guessing this is bc most of the patton fans probably are just casual viewers who aren’t interested in angst or lore stuff on tumblr. and i’m pretty sure logan and janus fans have their own army that they’ve built on this platform to stan him lol

I believe he has a fundamental idea. I have always been honest with him, as much as one can be with a seven year old without causing too much mental strain. He was rather happy by my return, but he is familiar with my life back home. He alone in my immediate family knows about Roman. As far as I am aware, at least.
It is him who helps me get on here from time to time as well. I would say his presence and assistance is the best thing about this situation.

Greetings everyone. I must make this quick, as I do not have too much time.
I see that my absence has been noticed on here. Roman my love I am so sorry. I am very glad that you found my phone. Please keep it safe for me.
This is what happened:
I received a message that I thought was from my aunt asking to meet for brunch. though I am weary to go out to a public place with the current events, she assured me that it would be at an outdoor space at a rather quiet time of day, so I agreed. This was the night before, when Roman was already asleep.
I left rather early in the morning, as I had wanted to read in the park adjacent to the restaurant for a while. Roman, as well as the rest of the household, was either still asleep or hadn’t gotten up for the day yet. I had full intended to send a message to you, Roman, telling you where I was and that i would be home by the afternoon. However I did not realize until I had arrived that I had forgotten my phone. Very unlike me, I am aware, however it seems that it is a good thing now.
When it came time to meet with my aunt, i was surprised that she was not there. In fact, the restaurant in question was closed on Sundays. What I did find there was my mother, whom i have not seen or spoken to in months. You can imagine my confusion.
She told me that she was there to bring me home. That she knew I would not agree to meet with her so she posed as my aunt. When I told her that I did not intend on leaving--my studies, my boyfriend, or my friends--she responded with saying that I did not have a choice.
i do not remember what happened after that. All I know is that one moment i was there and the next i was waking up in a car and I was already a state away from home.
My parents seem to think that locking me in isolation will “remind” me of who I “really” am and so I have hardly left my childhood bedroom, let alone my house. I only found a way to post here because they finally granted me to take Julian out for a short while, most of that on his part I’m sure.
I do not know what I will do. I do not know what I can do. All I know is that I am very homesick and I miss you very much, Roman. I love you, please do not forget that. You are not to blame for any of this.
I will try to return here to speak with you--with all of you--as soon as I can.

Isnt Patton helping? Like, I understand him not wanting to reveal Roman’s business but this is affecting you now so like,,, -🌌
Patton is helping, yes. He has been a comfort to Roman, I believe. He certainly is better with handling these intense emotions, and he seems to understand them better.
However I do not want him to misuse Roman’s trust. I do not wish for another in house feud, so I have not pushed Patton to tell me what he knows. All he has told me is that I should approach the subject in a more gentle way with him and try to dedicate more time to for us.
I’m not entirely sure what he means, if I am being honest. I have been doing my best to balance everything I have going on, and Roman is far from being at the bottom of my priorities. Quite the contrary. As to approaching the subject more gently, well...I do not really know how to do that. I thought I was being gentle, but I suppose my techniques were not correct.
Have you tried to actually talk to him? I can understand feeling frustrated, I would be too, but he could be really struggling with something and getting angry probably isn’t going to help -🌌
I have tried several times to talk with him and try to help him, but he is stubborn. He doesn't want to talk about it.
I know Patton spoke with him, and I believe whatever he said has helped, but I remain to be in the figurative dark about everything.

He knows it’s just....this situation is very frustrating. I was able to get through today’s tutoring sessions with little interruption, thanks to i believe what Patton said to him last night. However when i returned, he was completely covered in a weighted blanket and looked very upset.
I hate that he feels so bad, but I cannot forego my studies and my commitments for just him. I only wish I knew what was going on so I could actually help him.
How did your date go with Roman?
It was wonderful. It was very relaxing and both Roman and I enjoyed ourselves very much.
However it did little to ease his clingieness. I could not get him to talk to me about it last night either. I will try again tonight, but I'm not sure how responsive he will be

A picnic in the park followed by a stop at his favorite ice cream parlor. And when we get home, a marathon of Disney movies we both enjoy, perhaps Hamilton as well, since it is the weekend and we don't have to be up early in the morning.
I do hope this works. Today has been worse than the past two. I could hardly get anything done for myself, let alone help any of the others with their work.
Roman has been quite clingy today, and while normally I would not mind, I have a rather large to-do list.
I do not think he has ever been so cross with Patton. We just needed to have our tutoring session, and yet Roman acted as if I had cheated on him.
I'm not quite sure how to handle this situation.
I can tell you with confidence that he would not like it.

What are your thoughts on the song Little Miss Perfect?
It is a rather relatable song for someone like me, I suppose. I too felt like I had to maintain a certain image to be the “perfect” child my parents wanted me to be.
However I have since realized that my sexuality does not make me any less “perfect” nor do I have to be who my parents want me to be. Their decision on how my life is lived and who I choose to spend it with is null and void. I only hope the person this song is about realizes this as well.
What do you think is going to happen once September/October hits?

There will likely be an increase in political ads and commercials with the election so close.
And yes, there will be an increase of Halloween decorating and talk of costumes. Large bags of candy will be sold at outrageous prices and certain members of the household will take things to a bit of an extreme.
And there will probably be another incredibly surprising event. I can only hope that it is simply surprising and not harmful.
Roman's excitement over musicals is quite cute, in my opinion.
However his exceptional analysis and ability to determine foreshadowing and exhibiting his knowledge of the theater production process is extremely impressive. My love for him grows every moment he pauses the movie to exclaim over something in it.
