The man buried below died by being struck by lightning. Then up sprouted a tree at the head of his tombstone that managed to get hit by lightning twice and still live.

Graveyard At Midnight
The crow caws once.
A shiver down my spine
I wanted nothing more than to preserve what was mine.
The crow caws again.
Another eerie cry
I tried to fight fate, but you cant win with a lie.
The crow caws once more
A body in the ground
No headstone to mark, only soil in a mound.
The crow falls silent.
The empty only grows
The last attempt to hide my sins, causes them to show.
