Any time I see somebody who has the same 150 tabs open at all times, I immediately learn two things about them:
1. This person never learned how to use bookmarks.
2. When their browser inevitably crashes in some way that prevents the “Restore Previous Session” button from working it will be a life-altering event.
Pros of re-reading your own fic
a good time;
Has exactly the tropes you like and the characterization you want to read;
Gratification: yes you did finish a thing and yes you did do good;
just a very fun time all around.
