- theyre all roommates. D'arce left her shitty boyfriend (le'garde) and needed a new plaxe, ragnvaldr is an exchange student, enki owns the damn house and cahara moved from his home city for school.

- enki and ragnvaldr are the only ones who cook.

- cahara used to invite women over everyday until he was banned because they kept being too loud

- enki has one other friend, that being nosramus. sometimes he and nosramus will disappear for days at a time and at first cahara and d'arce thought they were dating but it turns out they were reading the entire time

- ragnvaldr has a dog. her name is moonless.

- d'arce goes to therapy every week and ragnvaldr drives her there.

- cahara's a widow, celeste passed away a year ago. he's still grieving, but most of his fun-guy bravado comes from that insecurity

- cahara, ragnvaldr and d'arce bond over their past relationships.

- ragnvaldr is a widow too

- ragnvaldr studies literature. i feel like he would.

- enki is a mortician

- cahara's studying buisness

- d'arce doesn't do school or work. enki just tolerates her because she's free labor (and totally not because he cares)

It's been predicted that Double Trouble will try to offer their services to Horde Prime. "The best way to survive is to always pick the winning side" and all.

What if Prime accepts - but doesn't use them as a spy? No, he has no need for subterfuge. His might is great; the Horde does not hide from those they aim to conquer. Instead, he judges their talents are best used for entertaining him.

At first they're delighted. They get to act? Professionally? That's always been their dream! But their excitement is short-lived, as Prime soon introduces a new device he made specially for them. It almost looks like jewelry when he puts it on their neck. Then he explains that every creature has a place serving the Horde - as long as they obey unquestioningly. Then he makes a gesture, DT's vision goes white, and suddenly they're not themself anymore. Literally. They're looking down at different hands - maybe Catra's, or Glimmer's - and they realize he just forced them to shapeshift.

And that's how he wants them to perform from then on. Instantly, painfully, whenever he wants, whoever he wants, without the option to refuse.

And then hopefully they would escape with Glimmer and Catra but angst comes first.
