If you dare come at me about banning straws, I will throw you into the sun cannon. I’m disabled, I’m crippled, I need disposable plastic straws, and all those pricey ridiculous alternatives aren’t working as well. Plastic straws were invented for the disabled.

Way to shit all over a vital access need because you think straws are worse than corporate greed.

We all care about the turtles, the seals, the oceans, obviously. Notice how the easiest thing to yell about was something that would barely affect anything but appealed heavily to emotional discourse.

The disabled community is huge, and it can be joined by anyone. Most of those As Seen On TV products were invented for us. Society still mocks us and ignores us, and often outright harms us in multiple ways.

Communicate better. Listen better. But stop putting us out in the cold because you are inconvenienced by our simplest needs.

Ahoy my fellow Buccaneers! We are reaching that time of year again where we celebrate for a lovely week the point and click pirate-y series Monkey Island!

Much like the years before, or an entire week, from July 5 to July 11, there will be prompts to answer and a way to share what you love about the franchise with either art, writing, meta, gifs or what have you! There are no wrong answers, just have fun being the creative pirates you all are.

Monkey island!!

Hard to imagine that it’s been almost twelve years since the last entry in the Monkey Island franchise. I know a lot of people were rather down on Tales compared to other games, but I always rather enjoyed it, and kudos to Telltale for keeping the title around among other games of the time. Though it does sadden me to think that, with Telltale themselves now gone, that’ll likely be the last time we’ll ever see another MI game, since they seemed to be the only ones interested in keeping the genre of adventure games around 😟

• make jokes because addiction is not funny

• speculate anything about his marriage or personal life

• attack those in his personal life (*ahem, leave anna alone. don’t go asking pete davidson for details. none of that)

addiction is a serious disease, and while this news may be troubling, i am so proud of him for seeking help. you can too.

i’m gonna say it.

there is nothing wrong with you for liking cartoons, comic books, cosplays, dolls, nickelodeon, cartoon network, superheros, disney, fanfiction, video games, drawing, basically anything that is label to be “kids stuff.”  life is too damn short to be boring; who the hell wants to just be into things are acceptable by adult standards. 

enjoy the things that make you happy, and if it’s something that people view as immature and childish you should not be ashamed. you are fine the way you are.

Hey it’s ace week and you’re local ace has something to say! I’ve been out as ace for 3 years now and it’s still a big part of my identity that I’m proud of so here’s a lil something for those who need it!

I know that the object show community is kind of chaotic right now but, that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the amazing shows and characters through art!! So I made some flower fanart 

I’m sorry for getting overly emotional about this but, I have to get this out. I’m so confused and shocked on why the object community is turned into this. I know that Michael and Cary are going a path that they want to go through but, it’s insane how everyone is reacting. They want to pay their employees for their work. 

They are trying to make money through the advertisements of their merchandise. They feel that they want to pay these people because of their hard work and their commitment to the show. I understand that the show is gone through major changes but it’s still the same show that we all remember. It’s just changed over the test of time. It’s changed because Michael and Cary wanted it to change. This is their plan for the show, they wanted this. The entire crew of Jacknjellify wanted this to happen. 

This is the future of the show. Is it so wrong to want to pay your workers for the effort that they put in? I understand that not everyone is happy with this decision, not everyone can agree on everything. But is it truly wrong that they want to make money off of a show that they truly believe in and have passion for? Maybe in the past  not everyone agreed on the idea of BFDI. But why right now is BFB getting the backlash that it’s getting now?

I’m not trying to hide this from anyone but, it’s hurting my soul. It hurts to see a community like this.

Wasn’t BFDI one of the founding members of this community? 

Shouldn’t we have faith in Michael and Cary for what they’re doing? 

I’m not going to fight against the choices that they’ve made. I’m going to support them no matter what. 

I hope your remember that all this started somewhere. I hope you’re remember the Jacknjellify is making this content for us to enjoy. They’re not putting a price on it. They don’t expect you to support them, they just want you to enjoy their content.

 They make these videos and don’t expect a penny back. They make these videos for us to enjoy. I’m sorry for making this whole speech about how I feel about the object community right now. I truly just needed to get it out, amongst this chaos I want you all to remember why they make these videos. I want you to remember that it takes time and effort and dedication to make these videos to go out into the public. 

If channels like Animation Epic and JacknJellify have patreons and merch and need to make money to keep creating these shows, what’s wrong with advertising merch to further support the show? 

I’m sorry for letting this all out. You may think differently than me and that’s OK, it’s just my two cents. It’s just my opinion.

~cleaning’s my life and when im feeling down~

Other than OJ (since it’s his hotel) who helps with cleaning and maintaining the hotel?

OJ is the head of the hotel, but when he’s not around or on break, Paper is in charge (even though he’s not good in positions of authority). Salt and Pepper usually usurp Paper.

Soap will perform cleaning duties once every few days to balance her life and keep the hotel clean. She’s been asked to recruit one person to help her with each shift so that she’s not doing all the work! Some people are more helpful than others!
