SOCEMA Grégoire, 1952. An experimental gas turbine-powered, highly aerodynamic coupé created by French automobile engineer Jean-Albert Gregoire. Powered by a single rotor kerosene-fuelled ‘cematurbo’ engine developing 100 bhp at a 25,000 rpm. The lightweight aluminium frame and bodywork and the aerodynamic shape – a Cx of just 0.19 – enabled a 200km/h top speed which placed it among the fastest cars on the planet in 1952. The project went no further than a single prototype due to the high cost of construction and braking issues; a gas turbine doesn't generate any engine braking effect upon deceleration.

Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer, DLS – Turbo, 2023. Singer have presented 2 new cars in their Dynamics & Lightweighting Study series based on 964 air-cooled 911 models made between 1989 and 1994. The car in Blood Orange has been specified by its owner to emphasize track performance, featuring a high-downforce rear wing with adjustable upper element and a track-oriented front fascia with larger splitter. The car in Moet Blanc has been specified by its owner to be road-focused, including an aero-optimized rear ducktail spoiler and road-oriented front fascia which reduce drag. Both are powered by 3.8 litre, 4-valves per cylinder flat-six engines with twin turbochargers, electric wastegates, air-to-water intercooling and a horizontally mounted, electrically powered fan. This evolution of the engine developed for DLS restorations enables power outputs over 700 HP at more than 9000 rpm.

Today, we revealed the four astronauts who will fly around the Moon during the Artemis II mission, scheduled to launch in 2024. Get to know them:
Meet the first member of our Artemis II crew: mission specialist Christina Koch. Koch visited the International Space Station in 2019, where she participated in the first all-woman spacewalk with Jessica Meir. She began her NASA career as an electrical engineer at Goddard Space Flight Center.
Representing the Canadian Space Agency is Jeremy Hansen from London, Ontario. Col. Hansen was a fighter pilot with Canadian Armed Forces before joining the Canadian Space Agency, and currently works with NASA on astronaut training and mission operations. This will be Col. Hansen’s first mission in space.
Victor Glover is our Artemis II pilot. Glover is part of our 2013 class of NASA astronauts and was the pilot for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission. He’s logged 3,000 flight hours in more than 40 different aircraft.
...and rounding out our Artemis II crew: mission commander Reid Wiseman. Wiseman lived and worked aboard the International Space Station as a flight engineer in 2014. He also commanded the undersea research mission NEEMO21, and most recently served as Chief of the NASA astronauts.

Lamborghini 350 GTZ design Carrozzeria Zagato.
In 1965 famed Coachbuilder Zagato executed 2 very stylish examples of the GTZ with both 3 and 4 litre V12 powerplants in Lamborghini 350GT chassis, the well known 3500GTZ #0310 & the “missing” 400GTZ #0322. The lines of the car were heavily influenced by the Ferrari 250GTO 1963.

Citroën 2CV Type A, 1948. Conceived by Citroën Vice-President Pierre Boulanger to help motorise French farmers still using horses and carts in 1930s, the 2CV has a combination of innovative engineering and straightforward, utilitarian bodywork. It was quite literally designed a carry a dozen eggs across a ploughed field. Like the Beetle, it's purpose was to make a car affordable to the masses for the first time
