Just walked through an empty forest while it was pouring rain, wearing a long coat while listening to Exile by Taylor Swift. This was spiritual experience and I’m changed forever.

I was reading a happy lil muggle fic with a cute wolfstar romance and then realized that there was no happy ending and Remus and Sirius have been dead for over 23 years. They’ve been gone for a very long time. 

Fun stuff

Domestic Wolfstar Post-War

-a small cottage with a messy front lawn from too many Weasleys and Potter children visiting.

- a quaint backyard with perfectly grown fruits that Sirius plucks after a full moon to make warm tomato soup for Remus.

- chipped floral china filled with a different flavour tea each morning made by Remus, delivered each morning to Sirius who still lays in bed, messy hair sprayed over soft cotton pillows.

 - an old leather couch beaten from too many nights where Remus and Sirius lay close, hands clasped, under one wool blanket, and a muggle movie on.

- a bookshelf that cover floor to wall, filled with mystery crime novels bought by Sirius for Remus to enjoy.

- a small bench overlaid with thick ivy where Remus reads aloud and Padfoot lays with head in his lap, just listening. Just listening to the sounds of being alive and here and now and in love.

- cold rainy days where they stay in bed, drowning in warmth from the crackling fire in the corner of the cozy room, that eases their weary bones. 

- fresh flowers on the window sill each morning that Sirius brings when he comes from his daily morning walk. Roses, and daffodils, and Cornelias. And sometimes Lilies as well.

- sweet smelling candles on the dinner table, lit every night when they enjoy home cooked meals.

- cooking together in their small kitchen, constantly bumping into each other and laughing each time. Wearing matching aprons bought by Harry and over stirring the stew and eating all the batter before it goes in the pan.

- sitting on the front steps each night, just looking at the stars, fully in love.

- countless photo albums filled with birthday parties and Christmases, and New Years, and summers, and dinner parties, and weddings and joy and love because they’re here, and healing, and happy.

- because they’re alive.

yeah except molly weasley is also fat and described as motherly and kind while petunia is very thin and is the dead opposite of her. Hagrid is also said to be huge and is once again caring to harry. Dudley, crabbe, and goyle being fat shows they were actually well fed and cared for, while harry was deliberately underfed. Its also to show they have physically advantage over harry. The fandom ignores the fat characters and refuses to include them, especially peter, that doesnt make jk fatphobic

She definitely has bad thin characters as well. I just found a pattern of their fatness making them worse and having those characters be worse because of their fatness. But I guess it's an opinion, whatever yours is ok as well. We're all free to interpret the way we like.

I never realized how fatphobic the Harry Potter series is.

These are all antagonists and their fatness/lack of conventional attractiveness is used to make them worse. They are bad people but fatness/obesity is shown as a negative trait to show them as bad or use them as comedic relief.

Dudley “His piggy little eyes fixed on the screen and his 5 chins wobbling as he ate continually” and “Very fat and hated exercise—unless of course it involved punching somebody”

Marge “She was very like uncle Vernon, large, beefy, and purple-faced, she even had a moustache, though not as bushy as his.”

Whenever they are shown as mean people, they are also shown as fat.

Peter : He is shown as less than the Marauders at Hogwarts, because compared to them, he is fat and short. Also, everytime he does something bad, JKR continually describes him as fat and grubby.

Peter sucks but his fatness is made to make him even worse and less than.

Crabbe and Goyle: Their personality traits are literally just being fat, stupid and mean.

Harry and Ron are made able to knock them out and polyjuice them by putting cupcakes infront of them, they are considered dumb fat people.

Their fatness is associated with being dumb, mean, and greedy.

All of these people are also shown as prejudice and when their close-mindedness is shown, their fatness is intertwined.

‘But God, I want to feel again“ - He knows that with his death he’s leaving behind Tonks and his son, but he’s just so tired.... he wants to feel again. He loves his son but he knows his time is here.

“Suddenly discover signs of life” -With his death, he is ready for life. To see them again. To see him again.

Why is it that I can read 500k harry potter fanfics in one day but reading 3 pages from my textbook takes me 4-7 business days?

I’m spiteful ok. I need someone to write a fic where theres the whole dramatized everybody mistrusted Remus during the war thing (which I don’t believe to be canon but whatever) but its au like everyone survives. I’ve read lots of those but i swear to god I need one where Remus doesn’t forgive and forget after and doesn’t run back into Sirius’ arms but instead tells everybody to F OFF for doubting him and fking reclaims his life and makes new friends and THRIVESSS. 

and like he can reconcile with his friends eventually and wolfstar again but the spitefulness in me needs badass remus who is independent and finds happiness and contentment by himself.

Harry And Draco

Sometimes I think about how beautiful Harry and Draco could have been. In canon obviously Draco was a prejudiced jerk but in another universe. I think if there was no war and Draco and Harry were a bit more openminded, there could have been something. I think even in canon, there was always something  there between them, but they never acted on it because they never accepted it, so it eventually faded. But in another universe, they could have had such a beautiful love story. 

I think that between the lines of the books, there was definitely “something” between Harry and Draco that was never written.

Is it just me or does literally thinking of Alex Claremont - Diaz make you get up and do your work?

Like I’ll be procrastinating and then boom “ALEX” and I’ll go do my homework and drink coffee and channel my inner son of the president who never sleeps

Lily Evans

Lily Evans would have a bath and body works obsession today.

- She would hoard coupons for seasonal sales 

- She would fill up her cart with half price foam soaps every weekend.

- She would really like winter candy apple. I just know it.

- Winter candy apple candles, foam soaps, lotions, perfume.

- AND JAMES WOULD USE THEM

- Little Harry would have like champagne toast candles in his room???!!!

My Deep Study On How Every Harry Potter Death Could Have Been Avoided.

I was reading a wolfstar fic and I realized...

Fanfictions are watching 2 people fall in love again and again and again. It’s 2 people finding each other in every single world. Whether it’s magical or modern or outer space or under the sea. Whether it’s soulmates or enemies to lovers or love at first sight. It’s watching 2 people reconcile and find the heart of the other again and again. It’s falling in love a million times because they will always find each other in every world.

Wolfstar Fetishizing

Let’s talk about it! Let’s talk about how the fandom has this warped, fetishizing of wolfstar and if anyone disagrees with them, they’re evil.

Top and Bottom are not personality traits. Top doesn’t always mean actually on top/dominant and bottom doesn’t mean quiet submissive toy. 

People don’t even know what they are talking about. TOP AND BOTTOM ARE NOT PERSONALITY TRAITS.

This whole bottom sirius and talllll  (even tho Sirius is the one literally described as tall in the books) top remus thing is honestly disgusting because it’s done in a fetishizing way.

Remus’ trauma as a werewolf is weaponized and Sirius is lowered down to a glittery puppy (with NO canon evidence)

If you write smut and think remus is top and Sirius is bottom, that’s fine.

If you think Sirius is top and Remus is bottom, that’s fine too 

What’s not okay is to turn them into walking (extremely harmful) gay stereotypes.

It’s disgusting and weird. Stop. Please.

WOLFSTAR - The Greatest Love Story That Never Really Was.

“When I was younger, I knew a boy and a boy. Best friends with each other, but always wished they were more. Cause they loved one another but never discovered, cause they were too afraid of what they’d say.”-The Story (Conan Gray)

- From the first day on that train, the dynamic between Remus and Sirius was always different from James or Peter.

- They were closer in a sense, knew each other in different ways.

- But they were always more distant than the others, as if from the age of 11, they saw the ocean of space that would remain between them for what they couldn’t have. 

- What they couldn’t be.

- It was different in the way that Sirius never playfully tossled Remus’ hair like he did James, but instead ran his fingers through the thick curls with a gentle hand.

- In the way that after the full moon, Sirius’ fingers always gently trailed over Remus’ scars.

- In the way that Sirius’ summer letters to Remus always seemed to end up longer with a jar of ink gone each time. Hiding “I love you” between the lines.

- In the way that Sirius’ always came to Remus in the night, first to talk about their families, then as they got older, just to lay beside each other.

- Not knowing the other wanted to lean over and kiss him and mould them together forever.

- In the way that neither of them dated anyone during the school years while their schoolmates were snogging in empty classrooms and holding hands in Hogsmeade.

- Acting as if they didn’t want to go with the other, didn’t want to clasp their hands together and never let go, didn’t want to link their lips together and never part even as the stars rained down upon them and the sky went up in flames.

- But they didn’t, because it was the 70′s and you didn’t do that.

- So they stayed like that, always on the brink of it but at the same time, with an ever growing ocean of space between them, them being forever destined to remain apart.

- Never truly touching.

“They loved one another but never discovered”

- Maybe if they had, things would have turned out differently.

- Then the war happened and there was no time.

- Then after 12 lonely years, there was a another chance

- They danced around each other at first.

- Not knowing how to proceed.

- But they were different now, over a decade passed. Scarred.

- And maybe that meant their pain slowly built a bridge between the ocean.

- And they could finally cross.

- And finally, after 12 years of separation and even more of loving each other, they would try.

- But then a there was a flash of green light and a veil that took and took.

- And they loved each other.

- But love stories don’t always have a happy ending.

- Sometimes they end in pain.

- But I like to imagine that with death, that ocean faded to dust.

And in whatever was afterwords death,

Maybe they would finally touch.

Regulus Black : The War

Tropes from Marauders/Wolfstar fics that I can’t stand!

- that Sirius is a playboy (there is no canon proof to support this. The only time girls and sirius are mentioned is when (in snape’s memories) girls are looking at sirius but SIRIUS IS PAYING THEM NO MIND. He is described as attractive and confident but only with his friends, not girls)

- the overdramatic view of the prank. (There is no canon proof that the prank caused some HUMUNGOUS rift between remus and sirius. In fact, it is talked about how the marauders as animagi and remus as a werewolf had many close calls when they were together on full moons. It then says how they laughed about it afterwords. Remus wasn’t as stiff as fanon makes him to be._

-THE OVERDRAMATIC VIEW OF SIRIUS’ MISTRUST OF REMUS DURING THE WAR (let me just go off here. Just like the prank, there is no proof that the mistrust thing was really a big deal. 

- there is no proof that sirius mistrusted remus because he was a werewolf, he literally became an animagi for him! Sirius is in the order of the phoenix, an organization to fight a HATE GROUP. He was open minded.

- There is no proof that sirius even KNEW about the fact that remus was with the werewolves. Dumbledore is very secretive and could have told remus not to say anything and remus himself is very secretive. Sirius probably didn’t even know that remus was with werewolves. All he knew was remus was gone a lot and would not say where he’s going without excuses. He could have been saying he was visiting relatives but it was obvi he wasn’t to sirius. That would obvi cause suspicion from sirius when in a middle of war that;s killing everbody, knowing theres a spy, and remus is lying. But there is no proof it’s because he was a werewolf.

-  There is also no proof that sirius became cold or distant towards remus because of his suspicion during the first war. Like people show in fics. Remus is very smart, if sirius was acting cold towards him, he would have put the pieces together. In the shrieking shack, remus is shocked to know that sirius thought he was the traitor. Sirius acted normally towards remus while having a doubt in the back of mind, and only at the VERY END of the war. when peter had become a spy and was wispering things about remus in sirius’ ear

- Also, I think that sirius didn’t actually fully doubt remus but instead had a small doubt in his mind from remus lying and peter wispering. If Sirius truly thought remus was the spy, he would not have been civil with him. He is fiercly loyal to the people he loves and is very brash, he could have confronted remus about betraying lily and james.

- Lastly, sirius doubting remus,  to me honestly, shows me how high he thought of remus. Sirius had to play “Pick which one it could be” it couldnt be james bc he was targeted, peter was thought too dumb. But Remus, sirius thought remus was smart and capable enough. He was just being realistic

LASTLY, the trope that lily and james mistrusted remus, There is no canon proof of this. Like i said earlier, remus would have noticed if all his friends began acting weird towards him. There is no canon proof that anyone but sirius even came close to doubting. and from lily and james’ personality we can difer that they didn’t doubt him. James was loyal to a fault and lily “was there for me at a time no one else was.- remus”
