Additional idea to the Sisters-to-Brothers Swap AU. Spy Mylo would go on undercover missions in both Zaun and Piltover.

As I described before, Mylo would be like Lupin III, a charming thief with a lot of tricks up his sleeve. He’s usually tasked as a intel gatherer, thief, or decoy, never as a fighter (but when it comes down to it, he takes out his knives).

In Piltover, dress himself like a Piltie and go undercover, and this is where Mylo’s Piltie outfits come into use:

He’d be gathering intel in the Piltover high society undercover, so Silco can have inside connections for the Shimmer trade. He’d steal an expensive thing or two while at it, they’d never notice anyway.

Silco doesn’t like that he’s doing it, too risky and too deep in Piltover, but he doesn’t want to restrict his son from doing what he wants to do. Besides, he has faith in his abilities and his intel does help a ton. His only rule is that he should not get caught or reveal identity to anyone; and never get attached to anyone there.

Sevika heavily disapproves of it, thinks Mylo will inevitably fuck up and drag Silco’s name with him when it happens. This puts Mylo and Sevika at odds, much like Jinx did in canon.

While on missions, Mylo likes to steal trinkets he thinks Powder would like and bring them to the shrine he’s made for her and Vi. His hideout is full of useless junk, he likes to imagine Powder is somewhere in the pile, tinkering like she always did.

It’s become an routinely habit to bring home gifts for Powder, sometimes out of genuine desire, sometimes out of unhealthy fear he’d fail to appease her or Vi’s spirits if he falls out of the routine.

It's such a small detail but I think it's so important for Mylo’s growth that he so freely lets people touch him when he's older. It was only once that he shrugged off affection from Claggor because he was having a bad day, but I've always seen him as being choosey with physical touch - he prefers to be the one to initiate. It's also entirely possible he didn't feel like he could show that sort of affection when he was younger. Mylo may have felt it was a sign of weakness, something he couldn't afford to be. He always held the facade of confidence, projecting strength was a necessity to survive.

But in the AU, Powder and Claggor both are handsy with him when interacting and he's perfectly at ease. He's comfortable and feels safe, largely in part of Zaun's marked improvement. He's still a bundle of nerves but he isn't remotely as jumpy as he used to be. I want to believe that would carry over to any potential romantic partner too: he'd be very openly affectionate and loving. Mylo would embrace little things he couldn't afford when he was younger. He's a romantic at heart, I'm sure of it.

Okay okay so genderbent Violet…but named like Crimson? Or maybe Thulian….Rufous sounds nice too, but I don’t wanna just go from Violet to another V name because it’s based around her hair color, right? I at least wanna keep it color based
