Day 21 done! Usually I like drawing armor, but this drawing really fought me. My favorite details are the little antenna and the tally marks for each season of hermitcraft.
Day 8 done! I haven't watched many of Hypno's videos, but his Decked Out runs are really impressive. His skin is very cool, and I need to come back sometime and make a less rough design for it
Day 11 done! For some reason, I can't seem to make Cub look anything other than menacing when I draw him. Believe it or not, the fangs actually made him look nicer. Though since this is permit office Cub, menacing might be the right look
For an alt hermit, I went with season 9 skulk possessed Cub! Figuring out the skulk texture was fun. Sadly, my camera is not a fan of how reflective the graphite is, so the picture looks a little off
Last day done!!! This whole month has been so much fun! Thank you so much to the lovely mods @hermitadaymay, y'all did such an amazing job, and seeing your kind notes on participants' posts every day was so uplifting.
I've never been able to keep up with a monthly challenge for more than a few days, but this time I was able to get something done for almost every day! This month has been such a great opportunity to learn and grow. For the days I missed, I plan to finish and post them sometime in the next few days. There are also a few pages of ideas and design attempts I'll post with that, if anyone is interested.
Day 28 done! I couldn't decide which of the many friends of Hermitcraft I wanted to draw, so I just fit as many as I could into today's square. If it wasn't clear from the rest of this month's drawings, all of my hermit-a-day pieces are part of a big grid of 2 in x 2.5 in boxes. I figured having boxes ready to fill in, plus a small size that limited how much detail I could add, would make it easier to actually complete the whole month. And it worked!
Don't forget that Hermit-a-Day May is raising money for Gamers Outreach!

Hi, hello, Emesis Blue dropped by Yesterday by Fortress Films. The video has flashing lights that are not labelled, so here are the times.
44:08 - 44:41 (bad flashing lights when the stretched Scout is on the screen to his death)
and also at
45:42 - 47:44 (alarm lights flashing within the respawn room. not as bad as the Scout one, but it's still a long time to have them on screen)
These are the only bad ones that stuck out to me, but if you can find anything else that may cause eyestrain or worse yet, possible seizures, please add them. Yes, this is a horror SFM, but I want people to be safe as they watch it.
Please do share and reblog this. I don't want anyone to be harmed during their viewing of this amazing piece of art, and I want everyone to have a good time.
Now remember, we must criticize constructively with Valve’s negligence on the bot crisis. 5 years of little to no effort and the bare minimum updates are not on us. That is on Valve fully. They made a game that is a PILLAR of their brand and let’s be honest here it’s breaking apart.
Save tf2 has failed before, sure we got some feedback but not what we needed. We MUST be louder, we must voice the problems FULLY. I’m not saying go on forums and talk crap with a bunch of curse words. That won’t get us anywhere. What will is expressing our experiences, not complimenting and being nice to the team. But showing the damage in full length.
The valve team is riding on the workshop creators to do work for them. That is not acceptable.
Sign the petition, tweet, stream, screencap, bang pots and pans together. I’ve seen game developers let their games crumble and I don’t want this to happen to tf2. And to those who follow this blog I don’t think you want that either.
Together we will be heard. We have to be. Do not settle for minimum effort from valve.
Another Trimax redraw! This time of my favorite panel from Ch. 83. I'm fond of that chapter because the moment Livio committed to the cowboy aesthetic was the moment he became my favorite character
(please ignore the awful signature, I really need to make a proper watermark before I post anything else)
Does anyone else have mixed feelings about TF2 finally getting comic #7? On one hand, I'm so happy to see these characters again and to get a conclusion to their story. I'm pretty new to this community, so this will also be my first time reacting to something new alongside other fans, which I'm really excited about! But at the same time, I'm sad it took so long. I discovered TF2 a few months before the protest started, and it was hard to see the fanbase so sad and frustrated because of valve's treatment of the game.
