This was done like. Three years ago and It never got past its wip stage for very good reason.

The difference between their reactions is driving me up the wall.

They're both equally overwhelmed by what is happening: they lost the people they cared about, they are forced to perform for someone else's entertainment, and they are surrounded by blasting reminders of their grief that neither of the two had time nor energy to deal with.
