I always forget how much homebrew my friends and I put into our D&D games.

Like, I think I’m so cool digging wenches and laying trenches, living that cinematic rule of cool life.

But then I open Baldur’s Gate 3 and the githyanki knock my weapon out of my hands, kick it down a mountain, and start spanking me just for existing and no inspiration from doing the silly voice for my dm.

After a long battle he’s about to tpk the party but levels up before dealing a final blow

All hope seems lost

He dies because his tusks killed him the day is saved sent back to the abyss to try it again some other time
