uuh hi! i know this isn't like my usual posts but it's really important
my online friend and her family might be homeless soon. they have until saturday to pay rent; if they don't, they'll be forced out the day after. the problem is that they currently can't afford to pay and they have nowhere else to go, and nowhere to bring their cats.
if they do end up becoming homeless, i won't be able to talk to my friend anymore because her phone has no data. we have no alternative ways of talking.
time is running out. unfortunately there is no fundraiser because they lack the things needed to create one, and there's nothing i can do about it myself either.
any kind of help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a teeny bit of the story of German physician Magnus Hirschfeld- one of the most influential pioneers of sexology and gender reassignment surgeries for transgender/intersex people.
I am only using nazi imagery for educational purposes! My hatred for nazis surpasses words I can type.
It was so crazy to read about Hirschfeld in Sasha Velour's book about drag/queer history. I had no idea this kind of research had been happening over a hundred years ago, because that's exactly what nazis wanted!
Please do your own research if interested or ask any questions in the comments! Information is obviously a little hard to find but there are several books and articles on the topic. I used collaging in this zine purely because queer history is so hard to find concrete information so we have to piece things together ourselves.
