You are transferred into a novel you love but notice something is off. The characters are acting like a parody of themselves and you see someone you KNOW was not in the original that the world seems to love. You have the realization you were transferred to someone's self insert fanfic instead.
Imagine you’re Corlys Velaryon, House Targaryen repeatedly insulted you, lost your wife and three children because of them, been wrongfully imprisoned, been ordered to turn your child and heir over because the queen is paranoid, been apart of a war that destroyed huge chunks of your wealth, but your not bitter you came up with a plan, killed a king and installed a child monarch. Things are finally looking up for you and then some asshole northern, who’s barely been involved this whole time, comes down south with some huge ass army and wants to execute you for killing the king he planned on killing.
