For aro/ace ppl there's pretty much no way we can indicate our sexuality with out spelling it out. We're so erased that we don't even get to have stereotypes. Half the world doesn't know we exist. THATS why we might seem straight.

My main problem as a writer is that I don’t write because “I have a story to tell”. I write because there are worlds I want to visit, ideas I want to explore, people I want to meet, conversations I want to hear, emotions that I want to express, and impossibilities I want to make real.
Which means that I still need a fucking plot.
Not to be cliche, but nature is hella inspiring
Quill - Five Minute Flash Fiction
I basically set my timer for five minutes, with the prompt ‘quill’ and this is what happened. Wrote this as a warm up before getting down to some more serious writing. Inadvertently named the characters after Lord of the Flies.
