I was tagged by @whateveryousay-dude and…someone else (oh god, I think it was @imacrowcawcaw but I can’t find it in my notifications anymore 😓) for my top 7 albums. It was a challenge because I don’t usually listen to full albums, but I did my best to put together a selection of what I’ve been listening to lately. 

I think most people seem to have done this already, but I’m tagging @dustnbones, @bazbach, @fishflake, @safari-karrot, @georgieharrisons, @jimmypages, @slavet0thegrind, @tanookiroxx, and anyone else who would like to do it! (as always, please feel free to ignore me too!)

I am writing you about the murder of George Floyd by MPD officers Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng, and Tou Thao. These men were not upholding the law, they were committing murder and terrorizing their community. Being fired is not an appropriate response to the crime. All officers must be charged with murder.

We cannot continue this way. This is not the way forward. Use your station and power for change; for good. Give a voice to the smothered. Prove that all lives matter. Do your job.

My generation will not fail to tell our children exactly what happened. Your actions now will cement how you are remembered.
