That whole "Azriel will beat Lucien in the blood rite!" is so fucking dumb. First thing, Elain doesn't like fighting so how do you think she'll feel seeing two men fight for her? Second of all, Beron most likely trained his sons to be beasts when it came to fighting. Third of all, Azriel has a fear of flames and what power does Lucien have? Flames. There won't be a blood rite between the two, Lucien is too mature for that.
