With the same gold hair, that you cannot help but stare at the way strands flow with the wind, and that smile, oh that smile, you still dream with those teeth and those lips and those dimples, shining brighter than what the sun could even want to be, facing you and only you, his earth and moon.

You go looking for his eyes, but they are not the same, the baby blue is gone, replaced with a darker green, but that’s not everything, because the love is gone too, along with the recognition,
The familiarity isn’t there, and you find yourself with the cruel reminder that it isn’t him, that loving boy has been long dead, and in its place now stands a man full of hate, you grieve him once again.
