My american ladies 4b movement is THE movement. Reject all the men. Be celibate and get some toys. And since the men will be violent and since guns will have more rights than us go get one and aim it at any man's dick who wants you

Machismo Is Such A Fucking Poison.

Machismo is such a fucking poison.

And, I know, I know people are going to try blame white women on the elections tonight but so many men of color have been leaning more to the right and they should be lambasted so much more.

Didn't realize there were so many pedophiles and just plain fucking idiots in America.

What a shithole. I mean it šŸ˜‚.

Lock up your kids because Pedo Don is here and he's crazier than ever.

Enjoy Project 2025, you child diddling brain damaged shits.

it really just strikes me how many americans are just.. selfish. how many simply dont care about anyone but themselves. sure trump will cause so so much harm to so so many people, but im not one of them, and he says he'll fix the one thing that does affect me, so of course ill vote for him. sure trump is really bad, but harris isnt perfect, so of course i just wont vote at all. trump and harris are the same, so of course ill vote third party

I am embarrassed by every Latino that voted for trump. y'all are clowns

I was a child in my country's last military dictatorship. So here's what will most likely happen as Project 2025 looms for us all.

Forget about the Democrats who won House seats being allowed to take power. Forget about Kamala Harris, Joe Biden and Barack Obama being allowed to live as citizens. Forget about the free press. Forget about being able to vote in the future. Forget about what rights you still have. Everyone who is a 'dissident' will be disappeared. Every journalist not kowtowing to the new regime will be made examples.

And that's just what will happen to you guys. The ramifications on the rest of the world will be equally catastrophic. Forget about Ukraine or Palestine, they'll be forcibly annexed and their citizens purged. Forget about progress to fight climate change. Forget about "Oh it's not gonna affect me" because it will. Because what do dictators do when they start to lose support? They invade other countries. So forget about fleeing to Canada. Or Europe, because now NATO is going to be sandwiched between an emboldened Russia and a fascist America. And right there will be other far-right ideologues, watching how this antichrist won and dismantling democracies following the blueprint.

All because certain Americans would rather suffer under the jackboots than vote for a flawed WoC candidate.

It's really interesting being on here as someone who experienced both the 2016 and 2020 elections on this app. Holding everyone's hands tightly. Love you all so much. Praying for the best, the stress is bad for all of us.

oh, so you wanna 'make america great again' but only for the cishet white men, right? only for the people who can afford to pay for taxes and healthcare with no problem, right? only for people who can support themselves and their family, right? spoiler alert: america isnt just the people you want it to be. its everyone in this country. you cant pick and choose who you want to represent yet thats exactly what donald trump is doing and it needs to stop

I wonder what identity the Democrats are going to try to build for themselves this time around?

Like, yeah, they could just fall right back into the same #Resist! schtick they fell into last time, but that really had a lot to do with the rising tide of socially "progressive" social democratism that has really been shunned by the party writ large within the last 4 years. All your "#SQUAD" types turned into the same neoiberal-neoconservative beaurocrats that have defined the party since the Clintons.

So that really leaves the question of just where the Hell they're going to go now that they don't have the White House, the Senate, or the House anymore. The smug veneer of command doesn't work so well when you don't have any power.

I am very lucky that my husband and I are in a place financially where we can leave the country if we have to, but most people are not. This shit is terrifying. I started out optimistic but the panic has well and truly set in.

It’s so clear that America has gotten way more conservative, especially among men and it’s a problem that needs to be addressed. You could say ā€œGen Z is the generation of change. We’re the most progressive generationā€ but that’s so fucking bullshit. We got the same amount of republican voters as the previous generation. Hold Gen Z accountable.

And on today's episode of america sucking shit

I can't sugarcoat it guys.

He's a racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, slimy piece of shit who's been found guilty of 30+ felonies and legally liable for rape, not to mention the fact that he invited an insurrection when he lost an election fair-and-square.

Even with all this in mind, we're about to make him president again.

And the bitch of it is, while him winning in 2016 sucked hard, but we could at least take comfort in the fact that it was a statistical accident; there was a gaping hole in our election methodology that he managed to crawl through. Not so this time.

This time, he just fucking won.

Kamala Harris' campaign just announced she will not be speaking tonight while election results come in over night. But there are still many votes to count.

I haven’t said anything about the way men have voted because it was a given imho. I never count on the benevolence of men. There’s a lot to be said about how Latinos and Asians voted, that’s not something I can comment on. Sending me anons saying I’m racist to white women won’t change the election results. I know not all of that demographic voted for trump but all of the women in the us will have to live with the outcome of the election. When you have black women voting 90% for Harris in some states am I supposed to blame them for this too? I’m not gloating by saying this. There is a crisis of dignity and lack of self-respect in some populations and I’m not evil for pointing that out

I need to be so fucking serious right now and say that for the love of God or whatever please no matter who wins please keep living at least for the next four years, please I am begging you live. I may not know everybody here but I still care about your lifes as much as a stranger on the Internet can

okay, SO. im not going to engage with the post because im sure op was well meaning, but your answer to a trump presidency should NOT be to keep your head down and shut up for the next four years.

if it is safe for you and you have the means to, this is the time to be fucking LOUD. you need to find your local communities and STICK TOGETHER. be loud for your queer siblings and your immigrant neighbors and for the environment, because stifling your own voice does nothing but help your oppressors. this is the time to push in local politics and governments, and to work our asses off to minimize as much damage as we physically can

Election Day Is Both Slightly Entertaining But So Stressful And Sad Omg, Im Still Building My Political

election day is both slightly entertaining but so stressful and sad omg, im still building my political beliefs since i can understand some things on both sides, so that + couldn't leave house and idk how the other ways voting works is y i didnt vote this year. maybe i'll try one of those political alignment tests and read more stuffs 2 figure it out? i dunno, my fiancĆ© is more conservative and also more educated on political things than i am so im definitely try to learn more from him (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ he said he would help me with voting stuffs once i live in his state so yayyy he's good with that stuff, he voted early this morning for trump. i dunno who i would even vote for if i did this year i dont think i like any of them, none of any of this really feels real anyways (ĖšĖƒĢ£Ģ£Ģ„āŒ“Ė‚Ģ£Ģ£Ģ„)

tho i wish everything didn't have to be so confusing and hurt everyone, all i see is hate and fear on all sides. why do people not know how to compromise or accept someone's personal or political or religious beliefs even if you dont personally hold the same ideas? and when it comes to laws and such i dont get why humans have to be so argumentive instead of having an actual civil debate and coming up with safe and logical compromises that can work for everyone, and nothing good comes of it. its exhausting to see and live thru. its so divided and i dont like it

I am seeing the results and the way it's likely going in the US. Haven't fully wrapped my mind around what another Trump win would mean yet. Realising that I hadn't ever believed that people would actually do it, but more fool me, I suppose.

When I did contemplate this outcome I thought I might make a sardonic post aimed at the third party voters being like "oh wow I'm sure this presages such a relief for the people of Gaza," but fuck that, this is too fucking grim to even joke about that if I'm honest.

This may seem silly but this is what I needed to hear in 2016, so I’m going to say it now. It’s okay to feel hopeless or angry or scared or betrayed or even just mildly nauseous. However you feel is the right reaction for you. You’re just not allowed to kill yourself. You are too good, too valuable, too important for this to be the thing that takes you. Yes the world is a mess, but taking one good person out of it isn’t going to make it any better.

So take care of yourself. Wrap yourself in that blanket. Get that hug. Eat that mug cake. Find your life preserver whatever it may be and keep going. You are stronger than you realize.

Deciding to do something when you’re feeling defeated is hard. If all you can take care of is you today, focus on doing that. Tomorrow or a week from now you can look at what your community needs to do to weather the storm in the long term. Yes communities are hurting now, but having to grieve one more person isn’t going to make anyone’s life any better. Please keep going. Please don’t let this election take you too.
